Has anyone had this ?
I've seen prices of $350, is this per couple or each ?
We're off on our first anniversary in September and I would like to surprise the missus with something like this. She likes the look of the GF (surprise surprise - she's good at picking out the most expensive option always :confused3 ) but we can only afford the AllStars :) so I thought it would be a nice day out.

I would of thought per couple as that was roughly the price DH and I paid for two seperate massages at the Mandara Spa at Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel last year.
Sounds like a lovely surprise for your DW :)

Claire ;)

Sounds good - can you choose the couple or is it just pot luck who you get?

Sounded like a headline for the Daily Rags... :thumbsup2

I've not done the "Couples Massage" but I took DD for a "Mom and Daughter" spa last August. The price for this was each (not for the both of us).

I think it would be a great anniversary gift for your DW :)

i love the GF spa.....it's very small and intimate....not like the big one at SSR....
i'm not sure how you wait for this though, since the men's and women's waiting areas are separate at the GF spa (which i much prefer...i hate hanging around in a robe with men around...yuck)....

when you get a massage you're also entitled to use the wet and dry saunas (separate for men and women) and the jacuzzi (also located in each of the lounge areas, one for men and one for women..
i think you're also entitled to use the exercise/weight room, which is very nice....(i used it when we stayed at the GF).....

and the shower/changing area is very nice...they have everything you need: soap, shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, disposable shavers, hair dryers, etc etc......and the lockers have combination locks that you set your own combination on it....very nice....

and they have water, iced tea, hot tea and fruit in the waiting/quiet room....
and of course they provide robes, slippers and towels....

Thanks Disneyholic and everyone ! I was thinking of booking one of the restaurants in the GF for the evening but was worrying about schlepping back to the AllStars to get ready.

Sounds like we can shower and get get all dressed up there after our massage, have a good meal and taxi back to the hotel.

I love it when a plan comes together !

yes you can definitely get ready for dinner there...and they have lots of lockers where you can put your stuff while you're using the facilities (and as i mentioned, the locks are very easy to use -- programmable so you can use your favorite number)...

if you need a hair dryer, please confirm with them that there is one (i've been at several of these spas and i can't remember for sure if they have one - but i'm pretty sure they do -- at least on the women's side)...

have a nice time!!
