Couple silly questions...

So I have a couple quick questions. We are camping next week at the fort! My mom and step dad are down in that area and they are going to bring some air beds for us. Will they be allowed to come to our camp site? The second one would be... One of the days they are going to the parks with us. Will they be allowed to ride the bus with us? Or do they make sure you are camping? We just don't want to have to worry about finding each other at the park. Especially since I haven't been since I was around 9 and my mom hasn't been in about that long as well.

In case it isn't clear... they won't be camping with us.

You will need to have them put on the list as vistors or they can't get in the front gate then they need to get a car pass if they are going to your site you may have a parking problem (one vechicle per site)they may need to park or one of the vechicles your or there's may need to get parked up front

yes they can ride the bus

you may want to let disney know in advance so they are on your ressie as visiting and when they get to the front gate they can give they're name and get in hope this helped

Ad them as guest on your reservation. Your allowed 8 or 10 people. I won't cost anything extra.

If you have a car at your site already, my recommendation would be that on check-in you ask for an extra parking pass for a party who's joining you later. You cannot have two cars at your site (not that THAT rule isn't broken constantly!). Do not add them to your reservation as Disney can (and might) charge an additional $5 per day for each adult beyond the first two on your reservation! I had to pay that to get my Mom a "room key" so she could get through the gate to pick us up even though she was staying at Shades of Green. Other times they have just given us a free key card. Since they are just coming in once, there is no need for an extra card, and the pass will certainly be issued free. You can just meet your parents up front, let them park in the overflow lot (with the parking pass displayed) and drive them, and the mattresses, back to the campsite.

As for the buses, you will not have a problem using them. However, the letter of 'the law' states that Disney transportation is provided for the use of resort guests only; and that applies to buses, boats and monorails. I haven't seen a driver look at key-cards in many years, but it is a possibility (not much of one). They used to enforce this rule pretty regularly, especially at the monorails, but not any more. As I said, I doubt you will have any problem, but did want to make you aware in case you get a trainee driver who is doing everything by the book still.

Yikes! Is that true? There are 6 adults in my party, so if we are going to get charged an additional $20 per night, I'll just cancel my ressie and stay offsite somewhere.
