Couple questions about tickets

Hello All

Sorry I tried to look everywhere and did not find the proper spot to post a ticket question so hopefully here is ok

We are going on Feb 6th to disney only thing left to do is buy the actual park tickets. We purposely waiting until now to buy them as we saw starting on Jan 18th the special for the 4 parks 4 days $340 at $85 per day. Best deal we found when we start planning a few months back.

So question is this. If we wanted to do the night time special they have for after dark at say Animal Kingdom. Can we buy the 4 day package for $340 and just upgrade the one ticket to Animal Kingdom to be for after dark?

I'm assuming you're talking about AK After Hours. That's a separate ticketed event, it has nothing to do with your regular park tickets.
With the DAH ticket you can get into the park starting at 7pm. If you want to be at AK or any other parks earlier in the day you would need to use a regular park ticket

As yulilin says above; you buy your regular tickets just like you planned, and then if you want the Animal Kingdom After Hours ticket you buy it separate.

If you want to save a little money, you could buy a 3-day base ticket and then purchase the AK DAH ticket. That would mean you could do the parks in any combination you would like for 3 days and then enter AK at 7 pm on the DAH day.

The issue with just doing the AK after hours, is that you won't get to do things like safari, Lion king, the animal trails etc... because they stop running prior to admission (when it gets dark early, they truncate the operating hours, so check before you go). And then, during after hours, you are restricted to only 5/6 actual rides, and a few shows. And, I would add that it is awesome to see AK in the daylight too, esp. in the early morning.
