Couple questions about disc. rates

After browsing these boards to help plan our Dec trip, I had two questions:

What is FTP? Fairy Tale Pkg? In saw that it expires in Nov, so we couldn't use it. But it seems like a lot of people on these boards are going on that pkg, so I wondered what it included, costs. It must be good!

Second, does anyone remember when discount codes for December have come out in the past? We went in Dec '99 and we got really great rates, but I can't remember how early we booked.

Hi - I had my trip already planned for mid-November and was waiting for codes to come out, when they introduced the Fairytale Package and then extended it to include my week of travel! It is a "Pay for 4 nights, get 3 free" plan, which is a savings of about 43%!!! It includes Ultimate Park Hoppers for all and a limited edition (?) print with pin that I've seen photos of (looks nice).

I had read on these boards that discount codes for November have come out some time in July, so I was waiting for them but jumped on the FTP. Some think that because of the FTP, the release of codes is changing, which seems unfair for those who are not interested in a package or need room-only or AP codes. Some have also said that new codes may be forthcoming in early-to-mid-August. Maybe someone else has a bit more info...
