Starting to think of another Fall trip to WDW (our son will be 3.75 by next Fall and he loved the last trip there). The problem is what sort of room to get. My wife and I sort of need a larger bed--queen or king--but the moderate and value resorts only have king rooms with no additional bed. We could manage with a standard bed but it will be uncomfortable.
Last Fall we stayed in a CSR king room and the son slept in a Pack and Play but he is really tall and I don't think he will fit in the Pack and Play this year (he slept great every night in the PnP and napped in it too).
I am also nervous about him sleeping in a regular bed--the motel beds are so high and even with bed rails he will find a way to fall out (he likes to get up at night and wander around some). Is it "legal" to have a child sleep in a king room in a sleeping bag or on a cot? I think he would sleep fine with either option and if he gets up at night there is no chance of falling.
I know the Deluxe resorts have queen beds standard, and the suites are also an option but we are looking at a moderate, or value, or maybe even an off-site option.
