Beautiful pictures. I have a terrible little kodak easy share kind of camera so I can just ooh and ahh at yours. I don't think they would look like this even I had the same camera as you. I just don't think I have it in me! Thanks for giving me a Christmas Disney fix since I'm not going this Christmas. The fireworks are one of my favorite things too!

Trust me its mostly the camera yes i believe you need some basic concepts and skills but really just keep trying things and shooting and see what you get. Ive had this camera 2 weeks and still learning a bunch.

Most of the time you do need a tripod however with that being said i did not use one I managed to lean on wifes shoulder to steady the shot.
