OK, I haven't been to Sea World in about 30 years and even then I was just a little boy, but I'm taking my family in June and remember a show that was really memorable for me. This was back when Sea World was in Ohio, so I don't even know if they have it.

I remember a waterskiing show where we watched them do all sorts of crazy stunts and stuff out in a harbor. Do they have any shows like that now?

Also, and I may have misread this, but I thought I saw in another post (that I can't find now) that if you purchased a 1-day Sea World ticket you could actually come and go for a few days. I know they have something like that with a Discovery Cove Purchase, but I thought the post I was reading said it was for Sea World Ticket purchases. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I just making stuff up? :)

The water ski show is no more. :( I remember that show too. I have pics of me as a little girl at SW and pics of that show.

The ticket you might actually be referring to is called a fun card. It allows you access all yr. It will expire on 12/31/13. It is very close in price to a one day ticket. There is always the option of buy one day and pay $10 for the second day.

OK, so I'm not the only one that remembers the water skiing show!

Yeah, I think the fun card is what was mentioned in that other thread...what is that and how does it work?

Also, you say that we can purchase a 2nd day at Sea World for only $10 after we buy the first day ticket? How does that work? I didn't see any of this stuff on their site.

I remember it too. lots of fun At Sea World. in Aurora Ohio. We had annual passes , got to meet the skiers and once got a ride in one of the ski boats. Good times, good memories.

The fun card is a ticket that allows you to return for the rest of the 2013 yr. You don't get the perks like you do with an AP. We bought AP for me and DH and did the fun cards for the kids last yr. That way it was cheaper but then we got the AP perks. We live close so we go a lot. Paying the extra for the AP helped us save money on parking and the discounts.

The 2nd day deal isn't on the website. You have to go to guest services on your first day and let them know you want to add a 2nd day. It will be $10 per ticket.

And if you are going to Aquatica, too and you buy the 2 park tickets you get length of stay-unlimiited visits within 14 days of first using the pass to both parks.

Isn't that for DC and it allows you access to both SW/aquatica for the 14 day period? I haven't seen anything like that for SW/Aquatica.

Is the fun card for Florida residents only? I'm not even sure we'll need an extra day, but the way our schedule is mapped out we'll do everything the first 5 days and the day before we leave is "open". My son has been begging us to take him to the ocean so we'll probably do that...maybe the Kennedy Space Center or Gatorland....but JUST IN CASE we don't get to see everything we wanted to see at Sea World I'd like to have the option of going back for at least part of another day for free (or cheap).

I was on the website and saw the info for this. I didn't know it would be that long. Good to know.
