Couple of questions?

I have had the escape photography packages sent to me by DFTW and wondered if we didn't go for an upgraded package that we could just have an extra hour or something? If so how much would that cost?

Also for our reception we are looking to have an ipod for some music. We have an excellent ipod speaker and wondered whether we HAD to pay for the Ipod set up fee of $250. Our reception would consist of 16 people and would be at the St James' room/patio
 
I wondered this about the I-pod too!! I was a little concerned about the difference in the wattage systems between US and UK electical appliances and whether you would get away with using a convertor plug or not!!
 
Hi Ladies!

I spoke with my WP and she said she believes the $250.00 is to use their speaker system, and not an extra fee for just bringing your own ipod. So...if you have an adequate speaker system to dock your ipod into, it should be no extra charge.

Additional hours of photography cost $175. And, as the previous poster said, there is no charge if you bring your own iPod sound system because the fee is for Disney's sound system. :goodvibes
 

Did you have one photographer or two?

What I was suppose to have was the following:

1 main photographer that would do:
AK bridal portraits
Ceremony photography
Extra hour @ the reception

1 secondary photography (booked through the photojournalism add on) to shoot:
1 hour @ ceremony

I ended up having both for everything which was amazing, but it was in my contract to only have 1 for the extra hour.
 
Boardwalk bride is correct - the cost for an extra hour with just one photographer, (the same one who has been shooting your wedding for the past 2 hours) is $200.
I was just quoted this amount 2 weeks ago. I guess it has gone up.
 
thanks everyone! I was doing a more detailed budget last night and added everything up and had a bit of a :scared1: moment. My DF nearly fell off the sofa! Luckily with this info I have shaved off a cool $800/£500!!

Phew, thats one less thing to pay for!

Now what else can I cut so I can stay at the Yacht Club?

It's a not a nice thing sitting down and putting a realistic budget together is it? I did it the other day and was a bit :eek: plus thinking of what prices could increase by in 2012.

Good luck in finding ways to cut down for that YC stay :)
