Hi everyone, I am planning a trip to WDW and would like to do Universal/IOA too. I have never been there.

We are staying at WL and don't have a car, can you tell me if there is a shuttle or roughly what a taxi would cost? (there are 4 of us)

I was thinking of booking a room for 1 night so we could get FOTL but not actually staying in the room, just checking in, maybe putting an overnight bag in and then returning to WL for the night and coming back the next morning.

Which Universal resort has the cheapest rates? (This will be February)

Our one night non-stay - would give us FOTL on both days right? and also do you think this would be a problem?

Thank you :flower3:

Royal Pacific is usually the cheapest of the three but not by a heck of a lot. You might want to call and see if you could get a room with an obstructed view or in the worst location, that could save you a few more dollars. You might also want to pack a small bag with bathing suits in case you want to go for an afternoon swim.

Yes it would and no it wouldn't, enjoy your vacation.

Since you are packing an overnight bag why not stay the night. You would save on transportation and you can stay at Universal and enjoy the City Walk and then be there for the park opening.

Mears will arrange for a van to pick you up at your hotel and take you up to Universal.

I'lll give you the website but Express Passes will be a cheaper way to go if your not going too stay on-site.Plus Feb is not that bad as far as crowds
Here is the website for the Royal Pacific:

But if you get the two day pass I really donnt think you will need to buy EP's or book a room unless its the weekend!!

Hi - I thought you could only get FOTL for 1 day of your stay? not both.

Hi - I thought you could only get FOTL for 1 day of your stay? not both.

if a person stays one night on site, they get the day they check in and the day they check out the fotl perk.

you do have to have park admission tickets but the hotel perk is valid until the park closes on check out day for you.

Since you are packing an overnight bag why not stay the night. .

We are only in Fla for a week and that night we had planned to do a Wishes fireworks cruise so we would have to go back to Disney.

Maybe I will try to switch things around, because staying over would be the most convenient.
