Hey folks..............I heard cirqu de soli plays at or near WDW all year, does anyone know anything about it and how to book tickets?

We would like to stay onsite, but would like a room with two rooms (2 adults, 2 kids) Can anyone recomend anything?

When are the crowds the smallest? Sept. Oct? weekdays, weekends......ever?????

Thanks

No really, check the resort board. I'm sure people will give you tons of opinions and very useful information there.

Yes, the circus is at the west end of Pleasure Island (not actually on Pleasure Is. ) I thought the show WELL WORTH the money. Enjoyed it very much. We were lucky, and were able to get tickets when we were down there. But that was in September, and that was before Disney started the "Free Eats" in September, so it may be much more difficult to get tickets unless you order in advance.

Where you stay depends on (1) how much you want to spend, and (2) well, how much you want to spend :) Different resorts are closer to different parks. We like staying close to Epcot because we spend alot of our time there. But that's two adults. If you are traveling with small children who have never been to WDW before, you might want to try closer to the Magic Kingdom. What kind of hotels do you find comfortable? Does a bare-bones type of (I don't care I'm only here to sleep) suit you? Or do you want more atmosphere and choices?

Regardless of where you decided to stay, in my opinion staying on WDW property is MUCH better than off-site. MUCH.

Have fun!

You already received some info on resorts. :) Here is what Mousesavers has on Cirque...

Regular prices as of 1/1/06:

Category 1 seats are $101.18 for adults (age 10 and up), $80.94 for children (ages 3-9), tax included. These seats are in the very center, sections 103 & 204.*
Category 2 seats are $82.01 for adults (age 10 and up), $66.03 for children (ages 3-9), tax included. These seats still have a very good view but are not in the dead center.
Category 3 seats are $64.97 for adults (age 10 and up), $52.97 for children (ages 3-9), tax included. These seats are located in 201, 207, and the back few rows of 202 and 206.
*Note: MouseSavers.com reader Mark W reports that the first few rows of section 204 are not desirable due to sight line obstructions. If you are paying for Category 1 seating, he recommends requesting section 103, or rows higher than DD in section 204. Click here to see a seating plan.

You can order these tickets through (407) W-DISNEY. Shows are at 6:00 and 9:00 pm. There are no performances on Sundays or Mondays.

Welcome to the DIS!

The Cirque show "La Nouba" is an excellent show and well worth the $$ especially if you're a fan (we've seen it four times). Like someone else posted, it's on the West Side (it's actually the last building on that end) and the building is shaped like a huge tent. Fantastic show - you'll love it!!

Alot of people have given you information on resorts and how to get two rooms. Depending on the age of the travelers and how much room you'd like, Disney Vacation Club resorts are an excellent choice. A two bedroom gives you one bedroom with two queen size beds and a full bath. The other bedroom is more like a master bedroom with a king size bed and a large bathroom that includes a huge jacuzzi tub (enough for two) and a shower stall. There is a full kitchen, dining area and living area (which has a pull out sofa if needed). Most importantly, they have a full size washer and dryer!!! You can check out the DVC thread here on the DIS boards to see about buying points from someone on the DIS. (The one bedroom gives you the master bedroom layout and the pull out sofa).

Now if you have older travelers, you can chose a value or moderate and ask for connecting rooms and/or adjacent rooms.

There are definitely alot of choices depending on how much you want to spend.

Have fun planning your magical vacation!!!! :Pinkbounc
