Couple of questions regarding food and DP transport

Hi all!

Now that the wedding is only 6 months away we are really getting down to the nitty gritty...and that means I need some help please!

We have booked to have a DP in Epcot after the reception at the Grand Floridian but we are really struggling to work out what transport is going to be best (and by best, I mean cheapest!) for us. There will be 11 of us in total (all adults) and we need to get from the Floridian to Morocco. Please help!

Also, we asked our planner to send some menus to us so that we can start decided what food we would like to serve at the dinner and the DP. The DP menus she sent are great and have loads on but she only sent one dinner menu which has about four appetizer choices and a couple of entrees. I assume that even though we are an Escape weddign there is in fact more choice than this so can anyone point me in the direction of food choices please? On a similar note, am I right in thinking the DP menus can be customised?

With 11 people you just squeak in at the limit for a passenger van, which costs $163 one-way, $221 round trip, or $68.25/hour with a 3-hour minimum if you charter it.

Alternatively, you could do 3 town cars at $25/each, one-way, which works out to $150 total for a round trip.

DP menus can be customized.

The venue guidelines for catered Escape events say, "Existing group menus must be utilized and may not be modified." You might see if your planner has additional group menus for the GF or if they could swap even just a few things on the menu for something else.

Also, ask your planner about the 8 passenger vans that are $25 one-way. We are using one of those and the limo from the escape package to get to and from the DP at Epcot in a few weeks. $50 total is not to bad!
