Couple food location help please!

Hey all. We are here now. I got a couple foodie questions.

Epcot has that Baumkuchen do they have it all day or does it run out? I wanted to try it but on way out of the park later at night.

Or 2 other churros questions.

1. Anyone find the coco one for the holiday party in MK. I guess it also available during the day. I checked a few stands but only found regular ones so far.

2. Anyone have the green apple one that harbor house has? I saw there was a new dessert there but they also mention that churro?

Spring rolls in MK are also on the short list bit line was off the chart long.


Side note. Gideon’s was 3 plus hours at 230 yesterday and then the wait to get in when you are called. Insane.

We’re going in a few weeks so can’t help with your questions as it’s been a year since we e been there but just wanted to mention that Nomad lounge in AK has good churros

The only place that I can find that has baumkuchen in Epcot is the Black Forest Baumkuchen at Connections Eatery. It's a quick service near the main entrance of the park. It's possible they may have one at a holiday booth, but those menus have not been announced and aren't open.

When we were there late September/early Oct., you could get the baumkuchen at Starbucks in EP. If I recall, they even had some pre-packaged by the registers and recall seeing it still there close to closing time. It is not the dessert you would find in Connections, it was simply a slice of the cake for sale.

Edited to add: I am not sure about the churros you mentioned, but, as PP said, Nomad Lounge in AK has great churros and you can get them to go if you don't want to wait for a table. Simple tell the CM outside you want to get churros to go and you can go to the side of the bar and order them.

The holiday guide says the hot cocoa churro is at a vending location near Cinderellas castle. So maybe a cart around there somewhere? It says both during the party and regular hours so that’s good , as some treats are party exclusive.
Could also ask a CM in that area?

I asked a cast member in MK. they didn’t even know what I was talking about. Lol.

I checked those 2 carts in the hub. No go yet. I’ll look again tonight.

So I found the layered cake in Epcot. Like someone else said it was at the quick service. I really liked it. I read it’s dry. I don’t think it is. My wife is a big baker she said it’s just a dryer cake recipe. We both liked it a lot. It really was good.

I’ll have to check the Starbucks for them packaged. I would like to grab 1 or 2 for back at the room. Lol



I’m not a cherry fan. My wife liked the cherries as an addition. For those who haven’t had it. It isn’t really sweet.

I ate appt last night! We had dinner at topalino again. Awesome awesome! Had the duck app and the lamb for main. Along with a few glasses of wine so when I got Epcot I ended up having a few desserts. Waffle. Apple strudel. The spice cart. Then the layer cake on way out. Lol.

I treated myself I have been good this trip so far. For the 2 day we have been here. Lol

Ok I’ll be back with more desserts and finds.

Oh oh off topic. We tried the bowls in HS today. We never get lunch but we were hungry. For what they r they are fun and good. I’m still stuffed and we had them at 11. But deff not bag for park food.

Yeah, Baumkuchen is a little drier than most Americans are used to. I like the ones I’ve had, but I also like most cakes.

Mmmm, the cake looks good! I actually didn't try it when I saw it in Sept. (I was trying to lay off the sugar!), but I think I need to try it next time we go. I enjoyed watching them make it! Thanks for the report! I hope you find those churros - they sound delicious!
