Do you like Country music?

  • Love all of it!

  • Only "classic" country... Haggard, Hank Sr., Johnny Cash....

  • Only the new stuff

  • Eh, I can take it or leave it.

I stopped liking it for a while, but then popular music went to crap, so I got back into the country side of things. I love the Dixie Chicks new album.

I like the old stuff.

I'm kind of in between. I go through periods (like now) that I listen regularly. Then there are times (sometimes years) that I don't listen at all. I also like a mix of the old and new.

Love all of it :D

I wish Camel Country would play the oldies... but nooo they play the same new stuff over and over. So I often end up listening to KNIX. What I want is the Tucson station... Pig and Pork in the morning or whatever it's called :woohoo: I love that station. I can pick it up coming from Tucson up until about 3-4 blocks from my house.

I love all kinds of music but country is seriously my favorite. I like old and new stuff. My bf won't listen to anything but Cash so I listen to my country when I'm alone in the car.

For those of you who are Tim McGraw or Faith Hill fans I saw them play Boston on Sunday and my only regret is that I didn't get tickets for the second night.

I voted "Love all of it" but thats not entirely true.. there wasnt a vote for mine.. I love all of the new stuff BUT I like SOME of the older music from the classics.. I dont like all of the older stuff.. so technically I dont like all of it..

I truly love Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts.. My DF knows that I would leave him for Kenny Chesney (this has already been discussed :lmao: ).. He knows how I feel about Keith Urban but now I have Nicole to compete with and I guess she wins :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .. and well of course Rascal Flatts.. I love all 3 of them..

We have a mutual agreement.. If one of the above mentioned people come along for me.. Well.. He'd understand... and the shoe goes the other way.. He loves Sandra Bullock and if she comes along for him then Im toast!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Well, it depends...

I really like some of it, but don't like some. I like (and play) a wide variety of music and even played with country bands for a number of years, although many of them also did a lot of oldies and pop in the mix. When I was really into it was back in the "Urban Cowboy" days when country music kinda lost it's twang and was very popular in New York. Yup, NYC actually had the biggest tcountry music radio station in the country! We used to play at a club on Second Avenue called O'Lunney's and old Hugh had live country music every night of the year except Christmas. Some were big names in the business and others (like us) were relatively unkknown.

Then, the owner of the radio station sold out and it turned to jazz, I think, and that was the last any country music was played in NYC. I didn't hear much country until we moved down here to Florida last year and it's just about everywhere you turn.

I like most of the newer female vocalists, but too many of the guys sound like they're singing with something stuck up a dark place. There are exceptions, of course. In any event, I do like a lot of what I hear and that's good because I still play it when it's what the people are dancing to. I do mix in in with a lot of standards and oldies and even a fair bit of jazz, though.

I will say this, though, country singers are a lot friendlier than most others.

Grow up to with old country and liked it. Saw Alan Jackson and Reba in concert too.

Love love LOVE it! Although I'm not a huge fan of the more pop country, but country is pretty much all I listen to. I'm partial to Alan Jackson, Montgomery Gentry, Garth Brooks, Alabama and Reba. I actually have one of the 3 country stations from this area playing on my radio right now

I like some of the new stuff by Keith Urban and Faith Hill.

I like some of the newer stuff. I'm a big Phil Vassar fan.

My radio station never leaves the local country station and hasn't since I was in high school :thumbsup2

I voted for love it which I do but I also like Rock and Roll, most of the old stuff from the 70's and 80's. In the words of Donny and Marie "I'm a little bit Country and a little bit Rock and Roll"

I love Country Music. I like Alabama & George Strait as far as the older stuff goes. My faves now are Keith Urban  Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean. Well really just about all of it and not to mention Tim Mcgraw.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. And the bad thing is...I have lived in Nashville my whole life. It's everywhere !!! Go figure. :confused3

I like it a lot. Really like Dierks Bentley! :thumbsup2

Used to watch a lot of the country videos on CMT but now it seems like it's all shows, like that Fix My Truck.
