I was also raised on country music, so I have a soft spot for the old stuff (or stuff that sounds like the old stuff.) The new stuff I can live without. Eg., Shania Twain - that'll do for a good snooze but that's about it.

Hey how about Ronnie Milsap? He used to be playing on our kitchen radio all the time when I was a kid. Just last night I looked up some of his tunes and I thought "hey! I remember that...how dorky would I be if I downloaded it?"

But Garth is my main country man. Holding my breath for his "comeback." There was nothing like Garth live.

I'm going to see Trace Adkins on Sept 10th, and I've met him 3 years ago at his fan club party, what a real nice guy, and TALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Give me Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley etc, and I'll be a happy camper!

Been to fan fair twice, in 2001 and 2004, with my best friend (who happens to be the person who converted me some 10 odd years ago). I love it and will go again, probably in another year or two.
