I'm wondering, have you used Hotelopia before this booking? I am curious as to their reputation and/or any issues that may have arisen with the bookings. I read on their web site that they are the booking agent, but any issues the customer may have should be taken up with the hotel....did you receive confirmations from both Hotelopia AND the hotel?

For their reputation it is so difficult to explain, they are one of if not the biggest tour operators in the world, you ask anyone in the UK have you ever been on vacation with Thompsons (part of Tui parent company of Hotelopia) and I would guess around 95% would say yes. No matter which european airport you go to you will see Tui coaches waiting for Tui planes to arrive,
They own companies everywhere you look incl boat trips around the Canals of Amsterdam. Just to one destination alone, Orlando from the UK they have at least 5 daily flights taking 1000's in and out every week. They are Very very big and reputable.
Confirmations; You only get it from Hotelopia, I am 40 years old, travel upto 10 weeks a year on vacations and used 100's of companies, never yet had any confirmation from a hotel only from the booking agent. Their policy is standard for booking hotels here.
I guess its just the bulk buying power of Tui, they sell 1000's of rooms.

Thanks for great info, both site and code. I just tried the quote with your code (I live in USA now). It works great! However, i have not put in my credit card number as have heard that sometimes there is good deal for ticket discount if we book hotel + buy ticket at the same time.

Anyone has suggestion for good-deal package?

I booked an All Star Movies room through Southwest Vacations for last April and we got confirmation from SW Vacations only and not from AS Movies. So it's not just Hotelopia that operates that way.

Wow - I just checked the rates of the hotel we want to stay at and it was so much less than anything else I had found on the US travel sites. I am planning to book this as soon as I book our flights (waiting for SW to release the dates for our May trip).

Yes no problem if the code stops hopefully they will send me another, if not usually a bit of Googling finds one, thats how I found my 1st code.
Which hotel you planning on staying at?

There are a few hotels that we are considering and just need to check reviews to see which one seems best.

The ones we are considering are Springhill Suites Universal, Homewood Suites Universal, Hawthorne Suites Universal or Staybridge Suites International and all are listed on the website. Our preference is a suite with a contential breakfast, close to Universal Studios. A shuttle would be a bonus, but not necessary.

According to Southwest's website, flight itineraries should be out tomorrow so as soon as I book our flights, I am ready to book our hotel.

When I went to the hotel website you listed, no discount was shown today for the code that was listed. But last night, the code worked, so I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or if the code was discontinued.

I so appreciate your help. We will also be booking a room for 2 nights by Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach prior to our leaving for our Disney cruise, take our 4 day cruise, then spent 3-4 days in Orlando afterwards. Any cost savings would be GREAT!!!!!!

Only one we have stayed at is Homewood suites Universal paid £22/night (Approx $44) never seen it at that price since, would stay there anytime, great place.
Looks like the 15% offer is over. They never last long these codes.
Best I have now is 358422 for 10% off, still working.
Let me know if you are useing Hotelopia to book and I will have look around see if there is anything better when you are ready but that was the 1st 15% I have ever seen, don't know if they will repeat it.

Yes I am using hotelopia to check the rates. Thanks for the 10% code. Even if you cannot find a 15%, the 10% is still a great rate over the other ones I have found.

I so appreciate your help and taking the time to assist me in making my travel plans. Our children know that we are going to Florida, but they do NOT know that we are going on a Disney cruise. That's going to be a surprise. It's been a secret since 1/31/07 . . . only a few more months to go.

Try 8328, that is giving 10% off now (4:45am Eastern time). Hope it still works when you get to use it. Let me know if it doesn't I will do more searching but only one I could find this morning.

I have seen this post for a long time. However, have to wait for presentation confirmation in Ft. Lauderdale before able to book activities. Result came out on Fri Feb 8 that we are accepted to the presentation and will be there around beginning May, however, this hotel has vanished from Hotelopia web site I am really sad cos it was really great offer that I intended to reserve.

Do you have any tips to find this hotel with such great offer again ?

Mixed reviews but close to Disney and some people like it, very good price.
using the discount code it brings it down to $122 inclusive for your 4 nights.

have you searched Hotelopia? the code will work on any hotel but I think its still only giving 11% off.

I'm thinking of canceling my ressie at POP and going with one of the DTD hotels that I saw on hotelopia. It would save me around $600. They kids aren't to thrilled about my new idea but they aren't paying.

Every reservation is different for cancellation fees, it tells you before you accept the reservation. Just checked mine results below for 3 bookings with them this year. In £'s but double the figures gives approx $US's. Date format in UK is day/month/year, I know it varies country to country.
Looks like a standard £15($30) fee upto the week(approx) then it goes up(considerably for Disney rooms looking at these figures)
Not stayed at Pop only at ASMovies, did not like there much prefer offsite but many like the value resorts.
I am lucky being in UK I get another 10% cashback thru rpoints.com not sure any US/Canadian cashback sites work with Hotelopia.
Just checked you can book from Canada, change currency on homepage to Candian $.
