Country Inn & Suites Lake Buena Vista

Yes you pay when you make the booking.

Hello Wayneg,

Your suggestion was super! It was a better deal than Rodeway or America's Best Western. 3-star hotel with very short distance to the World @ USD30/night (with your 11% discount code). I booked it already

Thank you so much and have a wonderful vacation in Florida. ;)

Hope its ok for you, We almost stayed there a few years since but somewhere else came up.
I never see point in spending a lot on hotels in Orlando, we are only in there to sleep.
Let us know if its worth looking at in future.
Have a great trip.

Returned from a great stay at the Country Inn & Suites ($60/night w/one of your codes)! The hotel and rooms were great - clean and close to everything. The staff was very helpful and enjoyed the free breakfasts - muffins, bagels, toast, waffles, cereals and fruit.

Quick question: I need a room for 1 night June 28 and would like to return to the Country Inn - any codes that you know of?

Thanks!

Great to hear you had a good stay.
Now 28th June. 31245630 is still working but only giving 11%.
Looks like Country Inns is not on their list for now.
The Ramada Plaza in prevoius post that Phromporn has booked is available if you want the cost really low. $36 incl.

Do a search for your date, the code works on any hotel.

Tried the Country Inn for that date and was VERY expensive so went with the Ramada Plaza. Anyone stayed here?? Looks like it has inside corridors which is a plus.

I was looking for something inexpensive for one night near DTD and used Kayak.com to do a search. Country Inn and Suites came up for $67 through skoosh.com. I had seen this booking site for months- skoosh- with some good rates but never used it, but since rates were pretty high most every place gave it a shot. No problems as far as I can tell, stayed there last Sunday night and check in went smoothly. I had to pay at time of booking and print out a voucher I had to show at check in. Could cancel up to 36 hours. I did call the hotel the day before check-in to confirm and they had all the info for my reservation.

Liked this Country Inn and Suites- clean, good mattress and fitted sheets. A little ways off road so quieter than some other locations.

have just booked country inns and suites for jan/feb 2009 through travelrepublic u.k. and got a price of £31/$62 which i didn't think was bad for that time of year. use the promo code getsomesun!:dance3:

Is this the Country Inn & Suites on Apopka Vineland Road you are talking about ??? If so , get back to me because we just came back from there yesterday ............ NEVER AGAIN !!:scared:  :goofy:

I went into hotelopia and tried to book the room at country inns and suites and tips for the way you booked it . I could not get it to come up or any price close to that for that hotel class.

We stayed there about three or four years ago and enjoyed it very much. What happened?

What happened? I was thinking of trying this hotel too.

I would be interested to know. Had nothing but good comments, plus
pm's telling me its ok. Majority leave good comments on tripadvisor so what was wrong? I can cancel for only $30 but seems a bargain for $42/night from what I have heard.

wayneg: I think that rate is great and based on one bad review, I definitely would NOT cancel. In fact I got a great rate for my 1 night stay in early June ($58.90) and looking forward to going back there. Not everyone is going to like their hotels for a multitude of reasons - some reasonable, some not!!

I am actually staying just a few hundred yards away now, at Fairfield Inn LBV. but ony here until Saturday, just got off Disney Wonder this morning. Was hoping to call into Country Inn but running out of time, Pirates and Princess party tomorrow.
Will keep ressie unless I hear bad reports.
Thanks

We called at Country Inn on Saturday morning. Asked to see a room. 1st member of staff was not great, told us they had nothing ready to show us, I said a unmade room would be fine as I only wanted to see the size and layout. Gave me a key. As we got to to elevator the manager came running to us appologising and telling us he should not have given us key to unmade room, not really good for the company to see a dirty room. He arranged key to another room within seconds.
If this was a standard room he showed us then its perfect for what we want. Only downside we saw was small pool but we dont get much time for swimming.

the reviews on some sites can be very strange and suspicious, it is not above other hotels in the area to post phony detracting statements, especially if the hotel slated is starting to become popular.
:sad2:

Good for you being proactive about this. Glad you got to see a room. After looking at your list of all the places you've stayed at, I was wondering if there was any place on your list that you would never, ever stay at again? I aks because I've only been to WDW once, and I am currently doing the onsite vs. offsite never ending dance, and can't decide. It's a last minute trip, so I've been actually watching your thread because if I, go it'll probably be last minute, peak season, more expensive room rates, and expensive airfare in addition to the park tickets, not to mention food. We always rent a car so transportation is not a problem or issue. Thanks for any info...:)

So far we have only stayed st ASMovies onsite, not somewhere we would go back to, infact we said we would never stay onsite again. That was 8 years ago, this year we are trying POR just for 3 nights hoping for a better experience.
Offsite the 1st hotel we went to in 1993 was Travelodge Maingate east back then it was ok, we then went again in 2001, was not good but passed it last week and its now a Holiday Inn so probably been renovated. The place we stayed in 1997, Holiday Inn Nikki Bird was only just acceptable but that has also changed ownership, they have a sign outside now saying stay for a week for $149, looks even worse from the outside now than it did in 1997
Apart from them we have had no problems anywhere else, we try to stay at somewhere in the Marriott group if poss as they are usually well kept and have free internet inroom, Fairfield Inn have a fridge.
For area no question, LBV. Would never stay on International drive again, even driving up it last week was a nightmare, the traffic is horrendous up there. Hwy192 East or West is OK but can take a while to get to places, we do a lot less mileage when we stay at LBV, its central to everywhere.
Some people only enjoy onsite but if you have a car I would try offsite once, sometimes you can pick up bargains even last minute.
