Country inn calypso way?

I was looking for that big thread on this, but I can't get the search to work, and it looks like this board ends after page 5

Anyway, can anyone advise on the best way to book this hotel? I didn't save any of the links!

Also, what kind of rooms do they offer? Thank you!

We stayed in the Runaway Bay apartments at Calypso Cay and booked with the telephone number on the Calypso Cay website. At the time I called, the reservationists were offering diffferent deals depending upon where you wanted to stay at the resort. I have heard of people also calling the individual hotels 800 numbers and also using Happenings coupons or booking thru an alternate website with hotel deals.

We stayed here late last summer and booked through Lodging.com for $70 a night for a kid suite. The rates are higher for this spring. I found a rate for a kidsuite at Valuetrips for $77 and tried to book it on their website, but I have not received a confirmation email.

Has anyone here used Valuetrips? Are they on the up and up? Anyone know of another place to book with?

I also called the 800 number for Country Inn and Suites and they gave me rates of $59, $69 and $89 for a regular room, king suite and kid's suite.

The kid's suite has a king size bed and a closed off area with 2 kid's captain beds. They are big enough for kid's under 10 I think. Their area also had its own tv and video games. There was a small microwave and refridgerator. The girl on the phone said that the king suite has a door closing it off from an area with a pull out sofa and a 2nd tv. I think the other rooms are just basic.

we have booked ci&s calypso cay thru valutrips.com twice with no problems at all. it did take until the next day to recieve confirmation.

I don't see this CI&S on valuetrips.com (doesn't matter how you spell it). Is it just me?

I'll have to call the hotel's 800# & see what I can get. The best online rate through their website was AAA and I think $99.

Go to Valuetrips.com and at the top it says to select city. Choose FL-Orlando. It will take you to a page with a few different areas in orlando and the hotels in those areas. Go down to Lake Buena Vista and you will see the Country Inn and Suites. I just checked and it is still there.
I also received my confirmation from them this morning. I guess it took a while since I booked on a Saturday. I have been searching and searching and this is the best rate I have found, at least for the kid suite.
