Has anyone ever tried video taping the Country Bear Jamboree? How did it turn out - was it viewable or to dark?

I taped the show in Disneyland, years ago, before cameras were very light sensitive (remember those big bulky 2 piece units?).. it is dark but still viewable. With todays cameras it should come out quite well. I think they allow taping, but no external lighting.

No flash photograghy or extrenal lighting allowed for the comfort of all veiwing is what I remember them saying. They will ask you to leave if you do use flash. They light up all the bears in the end and then you may take pictures. This is explained before each show.

We taped it in 2001. It did pretty good. You can not use external lighting. If you sit close to the stage, that should be enough lighting from the stage itself.

I asked a CM before I did it and they said that i needed to use the view finder on my camcorder and not the viewing screen. It recorded in good quaility.

just make sure you aren't too close up and it should turn out fine, ours from Christmas is great

i did last december..i did use the view finder, it came out pretty weel, barely any shaking. No one made me stop.

Isn't it pretty much the same with all WDW attractions? Video taping and photography is allowed, just without a light source.
