Well I emailed Disney about how disappointed I was that the Country Bear Christmas Show was not going forward this year and received the usual email reply. However, much to my surprise when I returned to work this morning there was a message on my voice mail from someone named Michelle at Walt Disney World Enterainment apologizing that it would not be held when I was there and assuring me that comments sent to them are taken seriously. I got the impression that if they were FLOODED with emails and phone calls they might reconsider, but time is running very short. Here is the phone number for anyone who wants to call:

407-828-5260

I also placed a phone call and expressed my deep disappointment.

I got a similar message on my home answering machine on Sunday in response to my e-mail. I was expecting some kind of form letter e-mail response, and was pretty surprised by the message from a real person. The content was nothing special. "We take guest comments seriously, there are plenty of other holiday offerings, etc."

At least the issue seems to WDW to be worth some labor hours on the phone rather than just a canned e-mail reply.

I am also taken back about no Christmas Bears this year, we always like to stop in for the Holiday version, but; not this year, maybe next.

I got the same call on my Answering machine yesterday from Lucretia in regards to my e-mail. Guess we will just have to go back next year to catch the Christmas Bears.

are they not doing it at all?
if so im actually okay with it. i havent seen the regular CB show in a few years since we havent gone on a non-christmas show time.

No. It is not being changed to the Holiday show this year at all.

We received the same message on our answering machine. To bad, I would be interested in the reason for not showing it? :confused3

I'm glad they're not changing it! We have to go to WDW the week of New Years, and have already seen the Holiday bears show. We want to see the original for a change, so I'm all for it. I even e-mailed Disney telling them I'm glad they're not changing it.

I emailed them too, days ago, and so far I got the canned email but no phone call or message. Glad to hear they are at least noting some of us are sad about it! I was really looking forward to that show!

I'm really bummed out. I've never been to Disney World for Christmas and this will be my family's first year doing so. I was really looking forward to the Country Bear Christmas Show, as was my sister. :(

Why, why, WHY no Christmas Bears?! That bites. Grrrrrr.

I swear, Disney is cutting so much stuff. It drives me bonkers.
