I had a Jawbone up. Worked great for 6-7 months, but then it would not sync or hold a charge. The company replaced it. 2nd replacement had a similar problem.
I decided to try the new Garmin VivoFit. Band is very small and I use it as a watch. It runs on a watch battery so it does not need to be recharged all the time (LOVE THIS!). Battery lasts about a year and is easy to replace (haven't needed it replaced yet). Garmin app is basic, but it does what I need. Sync is very easy to my iPhone 5.
I also tried the Withering. It was ok, but I like the Garmin Vivofit better.
I have a Garmin GPS running watch. Of the 3, the Jawbone Up was the most accurate at calculating miles. The Garmin Vivo fit under calls miles by about about 25% and the Withering over calls miles by about 25%
The wrist straps on the Vivofit and Fitbit One tend to come loose. I purchased Bitbelts for my strap and it has worked like a charm! The Bitbelt also fits on Disney Magic Bands.
