I have zip and have tossed around idea of upgrading to bracelet type one. For me it's nothing other than I want rechargeable battery as I think my zip eats batteries.

I got a Fitbit Flex (the bracelet) for my Birthday in June. I love it!! It's comfy to wear. It tracks my sleep, counts calories burned, counts steps & so much more I'm still figuring out. One of my favorite features I didn't know about is the silent alarm. You set it on the computer or on your phone. It vibrates and wakes me but nobody else. No more sleeping thru alarms. It wakes me the first time it goes off.

FYI wore it on a 10 day Disney Vacation. My best day I took 20,6051 steps, walked 8.6 miles (MK & Epcot) & burned 18,080 calories I think I burned off every Mickey Bar I ever ate

I love the idea of the alarm function and that it works. I get up most mornings at 4am for swim practice and not waking up my husband will make him happy. Do you always have to have your iPhone near or on you to work?

I've been using the fibtit force (the one they recalled, but they can't have mine!!
I take it off at night because I did have a reaction to the nickle in the back of it.
HOwever - I've lost 15 lb since the new year. I track my food on their website (I believe you can do this thu your phone) and it really reminds me to move more.

I'd definitely go for a bracelet type.

I have a fitbit, but the darn things are so expensive. It keeps track of all the steps, distance etc... there is a cool little thing where you can GPS yourself too. Syncs great w/iPhone. I have yet to really figure out how to effectively use the sleep function.

i LOVE my Fitbit One. I had such a hard time "buckleing" the Force that I seized the opportunity with the recall and used the refund to get the One. The FitBits are not waterproof so I had to struggle with it eveyday. The Disney Magic Bands were much easier to pu on end are waterproof.
I like the little messages I see on it, like get moving!

I wish there was a best buy coupon. I decided in the fit bit flex. My dd and dh saw the other fit bits and said the bracelet would probably be best for me! Lol yeah so I don't lose it !

I finally bought the fitbit flex black bracelet.
Best buy send me a new card because I did a name change, Well they misspelled my name by one letter wrong. I called and ordered new BB credicard with correct spelling. I got it today and it was spelled with the same error. Atleast it came with a 10% off coupon Maybe I'll get another 10% off with the new card.

I used a 10% off
dh's rewards $15
dh leftover gc $7
my shopkicks gc $25

I did get the 2 year warranty plan for $12.85

total was $64

I only did 351 steps I bought mine at 8:30
so far today I only have 58 but its only 2:19am

Off topic but I got a Kohl's card about a year ago and it had my name spelled wrong. I called them to be put on their not sharing list and the guy told me he had to correct the spelling of my name. So he gets the "correct" info and sends me a new card and it's spelled even worse! I don't have a hard name to spell. It's fairly common but Kohl's can't see to get it right.

Okay, back on topic, enjoy the new toy.

I really would love to get one for dh and dd15. I know its expensive but I can put it on my best buy card , theres always promos. I think we need to do this as a family. I think they would love the competition. I asked them if they wanted to do it and they both said no. I know it the $$ but hey family health is important. I dunno, Guess I 'll see what happens.

You need to rapidly tap it until the two lights show and it vibrates. Do the same thing to return it tracking mode. I keep my phone next to my bed, so I put it on sleep mode that way.

As a previous poster said - mine popped off someplace and I politely emailed (got the email address off the fitbit dashboard/website) and they did replace it!

Thanks for posting this. My hubby lost his too and after seeing this post, he emailed the company. What wonderful customer service they have! Brand new one in the mail.
