What are the CS restaurants with good desserts??? I know some of those prepackaged ones can be good, but do CS restaurants exist with fresh desserts? Anywhere???

I love the Ginger cake at Yakatori House (Japan, Epcot).

And Tusker House in AK has some nice desserts that are made there.

Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom has a mean chocolate cake! I'm also fond of the rice krispy treats at Pizza Planet at MGM Studios.

I think Tusker House was where I had a nice chessecake with strawberry topping. The pre-packaged desserts at CS in MK are pretty bad. By far the WORST dessert we have had were the brownies at Casey's.:scared: They were nasty. DH isn't picky and he wouldn't eat them. We ended up throwing them out.

Kringla Bakeri in the Norway pavilion has great desserts. World Showcase in general is a good place to look for fresh desserts.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but Tusker House now has the same pre-packaged desserts as everyone else! I was looking forward to the big hunk of chocolate cake I got in December, but no, only the small little round cake in the black container. Same with carrot cake and cheesecake.:sad2:

Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot has an amazing fresh bakery selection - and the best part is nearly any dessert is available as your dessert for the dining plan! :goodvibes

second vote here for sunshine seasons food court - they seem to have to biggest selection, and it all looks luscious!

Fruit Tulip at sunshine seasons in epcot is to die for. My wife got one last summer and I did not. I ended up eating most of hers. She was mad at me :). It is out of this world

I really liked the cookies at Earl of Sandwich, and the cupcakes looked really tasty too!

The baklava at Tangerine Cafe in Morocco was pretty good, not the best, but pretty good.

I did skip the dessert at a few of the CS places, and just used a snack credit later. Like at Columbia Harbor house, they let me get fries instead of dessert (I didn't ask, they offered when I said I didn't want dessert), and then while we were leaving MK, I used a snack credit to get a piece of cheesecake at Main Street Bakery. That was much better than the scary looking apple crisp LOL!

Gotta throw my vote in for Sunshine Seasons. The quality and selection are unmatched by any other CS in all of The World.

Another Sunshine Seasons fan here! Gotta love those fruit tulips.

Does anyone else find these desserts unappealing when packaged this way?

Favorites in Epcot are the made to order Waffles w/Strawberry Jam and other sweets at Norway, and various pastries at Boulangerie Patisserie in France. Maybe not what you are looking for for a CS restaurant, however they both offer a few cold sandwiches/croissants to go along with the goodies.:)

definately:rolleyes1 ; although I don't need to waste the calories anyway.;)

electric umbrella let me get a fruit bowl @ lunch last Oct. (leftover from breakfast?) -wonder if it's still offered?

Another vote for Seasons! They have sooo much to chose from! And it's all really yummy and fresh! We eat at Seasons on every trip!

Tangierine Cafe in Morocco has a dessert/coffee bar at the very far end. They serve some absolutely delicious desserts.

My favorite is the apple struddle thing in Germany. I don't eat sausage but everyone else in my family does so we get the strussel for me! HEY I AM AN ADULT I CAN EAT THAT FOR LUNCH IF I WANT TOO!!!
