I saw that sushi is on the menu at Captain Cook's at the Poly and at Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney.

Has anyone tried the sushi at either restaurant? I'd love to use a counter service credit for sushi during our trip, but I didn't know how it was and had not seen any comments on the sushi in those restaurant reviews.

Or if you know of any other counter service sushi options, pass 'em along. Thanks!

Yakitori House and Sunshine Seasons (in the grab and go section), both are at Epcot.

I have had the sushi at the GF food court (prob the same stuff they serve at Captain Cooks) and it was disgusting, have also had it at Yakatori house and it was slightly better. Have not tried it at Wolfgang Pucks.

My mom and I had the sushi at Starring Rolls cafe in Hollywood studios. It wasn't anything spectacular. You can get vegetable rolls, california rolls, spicy shrimp rolls, or "full moon" combo which is a combination of three. Unless you are there and dying for sushi I wouldn't get it. But if you do get it, the spicy shrimp rolls were the best option. Also, I highly recommend the butterfinger cupcake and tiramisu : )

at the land food court is pre-packaged, like grocery-store-quality ca. rolls. They have a little better ca. rolls at yakatori house. still fairly pre-fab.

Kona Sushi Bar is TS.

At CS you are most likely to get the mass-produced kind. If you like California rolls they weren't bad at Yakitori.

Sunshine Seasons (grab & go) sushi was okay too. I mean, for a CS price you can't expect anything spectacular, but for a quick bite it hit the spot. :) Now I don't recall if that was a CS credit or OOP though, but I am almost certain you could use a CS credit for it.

Hello! How recent was your trip to HS/Starring Rolls? We will be there the second week of Aug.

We had already planned a trip to Starring Rolls for the sweets. But I know I will be craving sushi (grocery store type or not). We already have ADR for several places for our trip that no one would be willing to give up in order for me to get my fix at a better location. So if anyone can confirm for me that during a recent trip they saw sushi at Starring Rolls I would be most appeciative. I cannot find a menu for SR that shows sushi. I realize menus are subject to change...;)

TIA:flower3:

My favorite sushi is at California Grill.
But when I dont have time for table-service, Kona Island Sushi Bar is made-to-order and EXCELLENT! Worth paying OOP!:thumbsup2

I personally think the Sushi tastes great at the Kona Island Sushi Bar and another plus is that it's made fresh each time you order it.
