Counter Service Suggestions

This will be my first time doing the dining plan with my parents. I'm looking for some counter service suggestion. My dad won't eat hamburgers or chicken. My mom is diabetic. Any suggestions in any of the parks? Thanks for any advice.

MK - Columbia Harbor House
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons or numerous places in the World Showcase
AK - tough one as I love Flame Tree BBQ but I go for the chicken
DHS - Starring Rolls for good sandwiches

Check out the menus on Allears.net for some idea of what you can expect to find where. Shouldn't be hard to find something for them both to enjoy.

I agree with the above poster on CHH, Sunshine Seasons.
I don't have a recommendation for DHS except to stay out of the ABC Commissary-the single worst CS restaurant in WDW.

We've never been to Sunshine Seasons so that would be new to us, too. Glad to hear it's good. Does Columbia Harbor House have fish? I remember eating chicken strips. Any counter service pizza places. We've been to the one in AK but didn't really like it. I'll look online too. Thanks to you both for your help.

Columbia Harbor House does have fish. I know their tuna sandwich is popular but they have a fried fish as well I think.

There is a pizza place in DHS - Planet Pizza or something like that - would be the same pizza as Pizzafari in AK though so if you didn't like that than you probably won't like it.

Your mom can substitute a water for her dessert. Don't forget the Earl and WPE at DTD.
