Has anyone ever been allowed to swap say a counter service, for a snack or maybe two snacks????

Yes, but success is random. You seem to get better results trying this in your resort, or any resort, rather than in the parks. I know some people have actually gone to their resort guest services desk and had them converted. Others have asked at the food court or gift shop. If you are told no, wait and try again with another CM

Thanks, do you know if this is 1 CS for 1 Snack????

No, usually it has been 3 snacks in exchange for one CS credit, however it's a little over a year since I was last there and I don't know if this has changed. Even at 3:1, it is still not a great use of a CS credit, but still better than wasting it. Are you expecting to have CS left over?

Sometimes you can get snacky type things with a CS meal to share to "spend" these credits, thereby saving your snacks for actual snacks if you want to. For example, if you go to the Main Street Bakery in MK, you can get a pastry, a savoury sandwich/croissant/roll and a beverage for a CS credit. This is plenty food for 2 or three people to share as a substantial snack or even a light meal. Just throwing you some options. :goodvibes

:goodvibesi was going to suggest the same as Lee, some hotels allow a continental bfast (fruit pastry drink yogurt) which would allow you to take those things to parks etc.
msb do a similar thing hot pastry, cold pastry and drink for bfast.
you can easily, somewhere like sunshine seasons, get snacky food to share for a cs credit.
why do you want to trade? that may help us come up with better solutions:goodvibes

Thanks you guys :goodvibes

Yesterday we went through our list of ADR's and when could use our CS.

We reckon because we are off site on couple days, we will be possibly a few CS left at the end of the holiday (that is including also using CS for breakfast, and if say 2CS left that means 16CS as there are 8 of us).

I wondered whether the kids could use the remaining CS for say a bag of sweets or something similar to bring home, rather than just waste them.

The nice thing for you with MSB is they don't have a kids menu so you can use the kids credits on the same things as adult credits. If you would rather bring things home with the snack credits then I would suggests assessing how you are doing with your use of credits just over halfway through and then start utilising the excess ones from then, rather than leaving it to the last day or two which becomes a mad rush. Using your CS meals for snacks and drinks to share will give you more snack credits left over at the end and these can definitely be used for sweets. Just remember you may want to think of looking at mickey rice crispie treats and things like that to bring back as the snack credits have to be a single serving so the bags are sweets often just cost $1.25 or so and are small. If they wanted those they would be better off paying OOP for them, unless you have a ridiculous amount of credits left to use up.

:goodvibeson off site days, you could get an eos cs to take out..
just a suggestion

I was thinking the same!!:thumbsup2 You can get a cold wrap(I remember someone saying they bought them to take on the plane home), and a bag of crisps (chips!) or a cookie and a drink.

We did it a few times in POFQ food court last year - they let us switch remaining CS credits into snack ones!

Did you actaully have them converted to SC's at guest services or did they just give you x number of items for a CS credit? (The various resorts have slightly different policies/approaches on this).
