Counter Service Restaurants during free dining??

We've always heard how packed the table service restaurants get during the free dining promotion, but what about the counter service? We'll be going 9/22-9/27 with free dining. Just wondering if counter service restaurants are affected in the same manner? in advance!!!

Some of the park counter service restaurants will be busier than average.

The best advice is the same as always though - eat early or late to avoid the crowds.

Having lunch at 12:30 - 1pm means dealing with heavy crowds.

Having lunch at 11am (when they open) generally means lots of seating and lower crowds.

I think they are definitly busy, on Sunday we tried on several occassions to get a spicey pretzel in tomorrorland and they were consistently out of all pretzels, at that same place we tried for a Turkey leg and they were out of that at 7pm as well, they said they were waiting for more.
