We are going to disney in September and have all of our ADR's but I need suggestions for counter service meals... Which ones are your favorites? I need several at MK since we are going to be there the most. It is two adults on the dining plan and twins that are two and will be sharing our food.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have!!!

I could tell you where we ate when we went last year, but they change things often. I would go to the DisneyDining section and read their recent reviews. I start about a month before our trip and pre-choose our CS meals based on the reviews. We have not been disappointed!!

Have fun choosing!!

thanks!! Anyone else??

Cosmic Rays at MK has more of a selection than most of the other CS places.

Columbia Harbor House (near small world and liberty square) is my favorite. I am so sick of burgers and fries at CS, so we eat here alot! The light house sandwich is out of this world!

Pinocchio Village Haus is connected to small world, they had a good panini.

I will difinetly try that... sounds yummy!!!

We like the Tomorrowland Noodle Station. The menu is different from the normal CS places, and the food is delish! :thumbsup2

We like Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's (in Frontierland, near the Country Bears and Splash Mountain) when we go to the MK. Pecos Bill's has a nice toppings bar for their burgers and they have a very good chicken wrap. Cosmic Ray's has a large variety of food items and a show but is often very crowded and loud.

Our favorit, favorit, favorite counter service is The Flame Tree in AK. The Tomorrowland Noodle Station is our go to place in MK.

I vote for Cosmic Rays - especially with the twins under 2. There is a good selection and good portions. you can get a chicken an rib platter that would be great for sharing with the kids. They can have the chicken and you the ribs.

The Pinochio place is also good. Plus if you need to or want to I think you can use a snack credit for the Figaro fires

Here are the CS places where we ate and we loved all of them:

MK: Cosmic Ray's (we had bacon double cheeseburgers and fries; delicious! Kids had chicken nuggets and fries meal.)
Epcot: Tangierine Cafe in Morocco (was totally worth the walk from Test Track to go for lunch!) (we had the combo lamb and chicken shawarma platters and baklava for dessert; delicious! Kids had chicken fingers kids' meal.)
DHS: Toy Story Pizza Planet (I am a "pizza snob" so I got the pizza planet chicken salad and I loved it; I tasted DS3's pizza and I could have easily eaten it...yes even me, the picky New Yorker!)
AK: Flame Tree BBQ (I had BBQ pulled pork sandwich and DH had ribs...delicious! DS3 had hot dog meal and DS1 shared my sandwich with me! Also delicious key lime pie!)

We also ate at the resort food court the day of arrival since we got to the hotel at 10:30AM-ish, our room was ready and so we unpacked our luggage and brought it to the room, and then we had lunch around 11:30-ish. We stayed at Pop Century. I had the Mediterranean chicken flatbread which was excellent. DH had a philly wrap which he loved. The kids shared the kids' cheeseburger meal. For dessert I got the chocolate coated Mickey rice krispie treat. DH had a Haagen Dazs bar. The kids had applesauce.

Hope this helps! We went from July 13-18, 2008!

They have a great chicken wrap and an awesome fixings bar.

Pinocchio's & Cosmic Ray's are okay too. DH & I didn't care for Columbia Harbor House, but my daughter liked the chicken.

Pinocchio's is nice if you can get a table by a window overlooking Small World. :)

I am so excited, what wonderful ideas. I am going to have to pick my favorites out and try them!!! Keep them coming!!!
Thanks everyone

in the MK we love Cosmic Rays (DH & I share the chicken & ribs basket) & Pecos Bills (I love the chicken wrap).

at AK it is Flame Tree BBQ all the way.

I don't think I like any CS we have ever tried at HS, so we either schedule a TS or get out at meal time.

At Epcot, I love Sunshine Seasons (for the variety). If we are in the world showcase for a CS meal...I prefer to just munch a little in each country. :goodvibes They all have nice/different snacks to offer.

One note about Cosmic Ray's. While they have a good selection they a diivided into 3 seperate check outs. So if everyone in your party wants something different like ours did, you have to stand in 3n diffrent lines, which is fine if you're all adults but with kids not so much fun.

We liked Pinochios Village. You can see the loading dock of It's a Small World from inside and I love the Figaroe fries.

25 Days!

I always wondered what that place was. Is it hard to get one of the tables looking onto It's a Small world?

We love Pizzafari at AK. The pizza is so yummy! I feel like you get a lot for your money...and the kids are almost always happy with pizza.
