We liek Yak and Yeti CS too....I'm bummed about Flametree.....there's Pizzafari as well. Edible, definitely. But I eat school lunches everyday, so take my opinion for what it's worth.
I second the poster who recommended Restauntasaurus. We love to get burgers there and the toppings bar is great. Also it is air conditioned, not all CS at AK have air.
Nobody has mentioned Tamu Tamu in Africa yet. They have burgers, a tuna sandwich on pita and smoked turkey. On the dining plan, you can get a milkshake instead of dessert. There is a tranquil little dining area in the back.
We ate at the Yak & Yeti CS a couple of years ago and all enjoyed our meal. Not as good as Flame Tree but we will be there again in August with Flame Tree closed.
I feel like the odd ball here saying we didn't care for Yak and Yeti CS. We had the beef dish and sweet and sour chicken, teens had orange chicken, but all of us were disappointed. We thought that there was too much rice and sauce in the first two dishes, and that the sauce was overbearing with very, very little chicken inside the batter. We are not picky eaters by any means either!
We've had Pizzafari in the past and liked it. Can't speak for Restaurantosaurus, as it wasn't open yet when we tried to grab lunch. We enjoyed the chicken and the ribs at Flametree, but we did wish that they had a choice of sides besides coleslaw and beans (tasted a lot like chili).
Wish I had realized that there was another CS in Africa! Something to look forward to next time, but sure not soon enough!

I didn't even know this place was there. We tend to stick with the Flame Tree, Pizzafari, and Restarauntosaurus. I will definitely check this out in January. Thanks
Disappointed about Flame Tree. That is where we always eat. I have wanted to try Yak and Yeti but worried the kids would not like it. They are a little picky. I guess we can try it with one or two dishes to share and then go somewhere else if it did not satisfy. Tamu Tamu looks good too and might be a little lighter (or cooler) for a hot September day.
We are not BBQ people so we never eat at Flame Tree. We like Pizzafari (that italian deli sandwich is to die for!) and we also like the chicken fried rice at Yak & Yeti.
