counter service ideas?

What are some good counter service places that are on the dining plan?
This is our first time on the dining plan, and we are wondering where to get some good lunches during our time at the parks! We will not be going to HS this trip.

MK -- Pecos Bill's, Columbia Harbor House
EP -- Sunshine Seasons, Tangerine Cafe (in Morocco)
AK -- Flame Tree, Pizzafari (but only the hot Italian Sandwich)
DS (for completeness, even though you're not going!) -- Starring Rolls

Never had a CS at Animal Kingdom

MK- Cosmic Ray's (they have a 1/2 chicken and rib combo that comes with mashed potatoes and a vegi and it's only one CS meal credit!!!) Great Cheeseburgers, salads & Not to mention the best fixings bar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, hot cheese sauce, honey mustard, BBQ, ketchup, mustard, mayo (did I forget anything LOL)

AK- Flame Tree BBQ (awesome key lime pie for dessert)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (Great Variety)

We have taken the boat from the MK to the Poly for lunch. This was nice to get away from the crowds and lots of selection.

MK- Cosmic Ray's! They have a great variety, good healthy options. We really like the side with the rotisserie chicken. You get a lot of bang for your buck! We also like Peco's Bills. Stay clear of Pinicchio's!

AK- Flame Tree BBQ, good bbq, corn bread and dessert!

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons has great healthy variety.

We like the counter service at Grand Floridian a lot too!

In Epcot, we love the CS in Mexico (the combination platter is big enough for DW and I to split).......
.......and the fish and chips at the United Kingdom CS is very good also.

MK: Cosmmic Ray's and Pecos Bill Cafe
EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons it's the best, well second best, at WDW- they have the best desserts!!!!!!!!!!
DHS: Nothing here is good- Studio Catering Co. and Backlot Express are edible
AK: Flame Tree BBQ- this, IMO, is the best CS at WDW- Love their food

If you go to DTD, please try Wolfgang Puck's Express! It's hard to believe it is CS. Also at DTD is Cookes of Dublin. They have fried Snickers for dessert. At EPCOT, we like the fish & chips in England. The bakery in Norway has some good sandwiches also. In AK it's Flame Tree BBQ for sure. I agree with everyone else as far as MK goes, too.

Have to agree on WPE. We have planned this for our first nights meal and am sure we will get back there a second time.

DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express; Earl of Sandwich
AKL - Mara (we took a bus from AK to AKL to try the Zebra Domes! Worth the trip!!)

I'm sad that so many of you think DS doesn't have good counter service -- Starring Rolls is great! I mean, sure, your choice is limited to one of three sandwiches, but what yummy sandwiches they are... the turkey and brie on focaccia in particular. And the desserts are just gorgeous. I'm drooling a little bit just thinking of it.
