I am needing some good counter service suggestions that are on the DDP for MK and Epcot. We have a 5 and 8 year old. We have never been so I am totally clueless!! :confused3 For our AK day I have read that Flame Tree and Pizzafaria are good. For DHS I read that the kids would like Toy Story Planet. Are these good ones?? Thanks for your ideas!!:goodvibes

Pizza is not on the kids' menu at Pizzafari (AK). If you're looking for pizza for kids, go with Pizza Planet at Studios - it does not have a separate kids menu. For a child CS credit, the kids can get pizza, a salad, a drink and a cookie.

We like Comic Ray's in MK. The food is good and there are alot of choices. For Epcot, our favorite is Sunshine Season for the same reason as stated above. Have fun!

Sunshine Seasons has a lot of variety in Epcot but my favorite Epcot CS is Tangierine Cafe; don't really know if the 5 and 8 year olds would enjoy that though.
In MK, my favorite is Columbia Harbor House. They have an awesome tuna sandwich. There's also salad, hummus sandwich, chicken nuggets, and fish strips so there's a little bit for everyone.

I agree with Sunshine Seasons at Epcot...plenty of choices for all ages & taste preferences. We do like the shawarma platter at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, but you'd have to have somewhat adventuresome kids to try that.

Also agree with Cosmic Ray's in the MK. Just be sure you walk around & look at the menus...first time we were there, we entered at the section with burgers & thought that's all that was available!

At Animal Kingdom, we like Flame Tree BBQ, but you do have to like BBQ or Smoked foods. Since my baby's 19 yrs. old I don't know what the kids' menu is about there.

At Hollywood Studiois, we really like Starring Rolls Bakery (they have 2-3 very good sandwich choices & chips available at lunch time. Then you get to pick any of the bakery items as your dessert. That's all they offer, so I don't think they distinguish between kids/adult credits there either.) And Toy Story Pizza Planet offers that nice little pizza lunch, no kids menu (it's a personal pizza, beverage, garden salad & choc chip cookie.)

The kids menu at Tangierine Cafe doesn't have any schwarma or anything like that, according to menus on unofficial boards the kids' choices are hamburger, pizza or chicken tenders (maybe nuggets now). Sounds like what nonadventuresome kids like, actually.

Another option is to check the "All You Want to Know About the DP" sticky at the top of this thread. It is for the 2007 plan, but there is list of CS places w/o kids meals so kids get what the grown up can get.
