Are there any good INDOOR cs locations @ HS? We were there in 2008 and ended up leaving around lunch time to go somewhere else to eat. We want to do the Lights, Action show @ 1 so i don't want to leave and eat somewhere else and then come back. Might be too much of a hassle. I'm thinking we will have to line up for the show a little early. Thanks

In my opinion Pizza Planet is not bad at all. Now obviously don't expect good NY pizza or something. It's Disney pizza- but they have ranch dressing packets out for the salads that I dip the pizza in to make it more tolerable I take the elevator upstairs and it's less crazy up there.

I think the Backlot Express is a good choice at DHS. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options.

We usually eat at the Pizza Planet and get the veggie pizza and a salad. I think it's fine. I don't dip it in anything.

Seconding the ABC Commissary. It's standard fare, yes, but it's pretty big and it's air conditioned.

Starring rolls for sndwiches, backlot express for standard burgers/nuggets with free drink refills, or pizza planet.

Ate at all 3 on our last trip and would eat there again no complaints.

Our family does not enjoy the food at HS, but like you, was finding it a pain to go elsewhere and come back for more shows in the afternoon.

We've come to the agreement out of all the places we've tried, Backlot Express (good for me, a vegetarian, thanks to the veggie sandwich) is the best option. Pizza Planet is our back up location. Both offer up indoor seating areas, with BE offering the option to eat outside as well.

I would do everything I could to avoid the ABC Commissary.
