Counter Service ? El Pirata Y el Perico

restaurant news section on another site that it and the Tomorrowland Terrace Noddle Station closed on August 10th.

Can't help you with September but I ate there last Wednesday, August 8th and it was de-licious!

I would like to know for sure also. Have been the last 2 Sept. to WDW and going for the 3rd in several weeks. My kids just started to love Mexican so we could actually try it. I seem to remember from walking by it was open some days and closed others.

I read somewhere that it was going to be closed, but would be open on the Pirate & Princess Party nights.

sounds right. We went often in September and October and it was never open (before late night events were around.)

I have eaten there only once, October 16, 2004. It has been closed every other time I have been at Wdw, in late April and this past June. I know it says it operates seasonal but I don't know the dates. It was fairly good from what I remember.

I would hope that since they have more interest in pirates now than before that they would keep it open year round I always thought it was awful it was always closed when we would go.

We're heading back again in April - has anyone seen El Perico y el Pirata open lately?? We certainly missed it in September... (my daughter bawled because they were closed)

ILoveDisney!

Does anyone know if they are open in Dec? They are always closed when we go in mid Sept. We really don't like any of the hot dog/ham/chix CS meals but this one sounds like it might be better.

that it will be open in April. Somewhere recently I saw that Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station has opened and will be open through late August. I don't remember seeing anything about El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante though.

As for December it was open the latter half of December this year as was the Noodle station.

It was open last April when we went the week after Easter. I think it's open during the busier seasons, and closed during the slower times.

(I'll be back at Disney in 17 days, and at MK on Monday March 24th. I'll report back if it's open or not)

It was open last March, so maybe it will be open this year.

That would be greatly appreciated! :goodvibes

Ok tell me, I've never eaten here (always closed!) and will be there in April as well. What's so great? What do you like the best on the menu? I love Pecos Bill for their fixins bar that it's hard for me to try something new!

Whatever you order, they give you the shell and the beef. For example, I got the tacos, DFi got the taco salad. Both had the meat in them. The thing that I love is that you can put whatever you want on them and as much. I LOVE cheese, so my tacos had tomatoes, sour cream and lots of cheese. There is also salsa and other things at the fixins bar to put on your food. :thumbsup2

I was there 9/3 to 9/8 and 9/27 to 10/05 and at MK numerous times and never saw it open.

It is really the same concept as Pecos Bill's, except with tacos instead of burgers, etc. If you like Mexican food, then you will love this counter service. They have beef and vegetarian style tacos, as well as choices of rice and/or beans on the side. You can then go to the fixin's bar and go crazy! Here is a pic just to give you an idea of the yumminess!:
