I believe, when we went in 2005, all the credits for counter service meals were not separated by child and adult. Is this still true?

So we have 5 adults (me, dh and 3 disney adults) and 2 children. Will our counter service meals be broken up as adult and childs meals, like the table service meals are?

Also, just confirming that all the credits are pooled together, so no matter which card we use to go up and get meals, at once. Meaning dh goes up and uses his KTTW card to "Pay" for the meals.

Thanks!!!

All of the above is correct.

:confused3 So are the counter service pooled as just counter service meals, and not separated as adult and child? Or are they separated as adult and child, like the table service meals?

When we used the QSDP last June we had 4 Disney adults and 1 child. We were in 2 rooms at Pop. All of our meals were definitely pooled at that time. The only issue we ran into was that because we were in 2 rooms our KTTW card listed 2 adults on one card/room and 2 adults, 1 child on the other. Even though they were linked and everything was "pooled" we still ran into problems at some restaurants because the CM would only look at the card DH was using at the time and it would list 2 adults, 1 child but he'd be ordering 4 adult meals. They tried to tell him he couldn't do it because the card only listed 2 adults -- which was easily solved by just showing the other card. However, we were told several times at various locations that everything was pooled/linked and that we should just ask for a manager if a CM told us we couldn't order all the meals one one card -- that everything was definitely linked between the 2 rooms. And during a minor meltdown by my then 6 year old at a CS register because she wanted a "non kids meal" the CM quietly whispered to me, "The system doesn't know the difference between a kids meal credit and an adult meal credit so if you're ok with her having that meal, the system will allow it."

Good to know, since we have 2 rooms.

Reason I am asking, a child counter service meal is shared, we will have an extra child counter service meal. Will dh be able to get an adult counter service meal for breakfast with that? He is usually the only one that eats breakfast.

Because Disney says specifically in the brochures that children's credits are for children's meals at both CS and TS (unless the restaurant does not have a children's menu) the DIS Restaurant Board has a policy against discussing using those credits to buy adult meals. Sorry, but that's the policy on the board.
