I have been told by 4 different cast members when I call in our ADR's that Beaches and Cream counts as a counter service.

I and even questioned..not a table? Nope..counter service.:confused3
Hey..I'm not knocking it, that means one more table service for me!

Well, they're wrong. It is table service. On one trip, a CM at checkin for BC/BCV even made a point of telling me that when he saw we were doing the DDP.

You're seated, waited on and there's a spot for a tip. TS all the way.

There is a separate door that leads to a small carryout space. You can order cones, beverages and refill mugs there.

CMs at WDW may be confused since they can't make dining reservations for B&C. Perhaps they then assume it must be CS. But they would be wrong.

And in the Dining Plan brochure, it is listed as a TS, too.

Now, they have a counter that you can eat at, but it's still not a CS option.

I'd hate for you to plan on a CS and be charged a TS, so I want to reiterate what the others have already stated.

Beaches & Cream is a TS, not a CS credit. It's inexpensive though (priced more like a CS) so if you have to pay OOP for one of your meals, this would be an excellent choice.

The CMs were wrong. This is a TS. We eat here often, actually twice in February. There USE to be a counter service on one side (separate door) that sold food, but now it's only used for ice cream. Sorry OP, if you want to eat here, it's either use a TS credit or pay cash OOP.
