Counter Service at AK

Just wondering what everyone thought about cs at AK . Going back WDW in Sept. we were there in dec and ate at Flame Tree Barbecue and loved it, but I see lots of good reviews for Tusker House which one is better??

Tusker House is going to be changing over to a TS. It will be closed starting in August, reopening in November as a TS.

Yeah, you'll miss Tusker House on your trip, and the menu will be different when they re-open. I believe it's going to be used for a character breakfast, and a buffet-style TS for lunch and dinner.

I've eaten at both Tusker House and Flame Tree as counter service, and thought they were both pretty good (by theme park standards). Plan to go back to Flame Tree on my next trip, and also going to try either the new Tusker House buffet or the brand new Yak & Yeti restaurant.
