Can you tell me if there are any restaurants in Downtown Disney that accept the DDP specifically for the quick service?

Only one we've ever tried and LOVE is Earl of Sandwich. We've eaten there numerous times and have never been disappointed. If you decide to try it and get there and the line looks crazy long - don't fret - it actually moves really quickly.

BTW can anyone tell me what food/types of food is included on the counter service? Is it an entree and drink? Is it enough for a lunch?

you will get your entree, drink AND a dessert. . . if you check out allearsnet.com you can see all restaurant's menus....I always like to check out my food options beforehand (I even think there is a link somewhere here on the DIS for menus as well)-- I've been known to pick out what I'm going to eat at a particular restaurant weeks in advance. . . pathetic and sad, I know.

The counter service credits can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner at counter/quick service locations (where you go up and order your food at a counter). The table service credits can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner at table service restaurants including buffets, character dinners, and all-you-care-to-eat restaurants. Hope this makes sense!

I highly recommend WP Express as Quick-Service Credit. You order your food at the counter, get your drink and dessert, then sit down and they bring you your entree - pizza, sandwiches, salads all are very yummy and (for the most part) a cut above the CS meals at the resorts and parks.

Thanks for the info on Earl of Sandwich. This is one that we're considering for our CS options. I'd wanted to try it on our last trip, but we never got there for some reason. And we didn't have the DP that time around, but we think we are going to add it for our trip later this year.

They also have some pasta dishes and roasted chicken and mashed potatoes. We ate at the one at the marketplace end of DTD Christmas week and the food and service was excellent.
