we really enjoy this time period at WDW & Universal but every year F&W seems more when we visit (Saturday). Naturally, I know better than to visit on the weekends and each year I say I'm going to skip Saturday, but no. Guess where i wind up every single trip due to trying to work everything? Serves me right lol.

Do most adults dress up? I was going to have the girls dress up but had no plan for DH and me to dress up. I think the girls would like it if we did.
We are planning to take the girls to Sandcastle Club on a Tues so dh and I can stroll thru F&W with ease. Getting more and ore excited!!

100 days for us to our first F&W. It seems like forever to go. Really looking forward to eating and drinking ourselves around the world for several days, and then trying to run the Half Marathon on a Saturday night.

many familes do a theme, incredibles was popular a few years back. Brave souls, you wouldn't catch me running around in tights lol. I can't remember which DISer it was (anybody remember?) but somebody here does the blue fairy from cinderella

We've gone as mickey and minnie (the dress with the multiple fluffy skirts was uncomfortable on rides now i know what those little girls feel like in their princess dresses) and rather hot. I bought us a new set of pirate costumes last year on clearance after the holiday that we recycle for DCL cruises.

Okay, we may have to consider the dressing up idea. Of course we could never do anything scary or gory because our dds would be frightened out of their minds. They don't even go in the local "year round' costume and party shop!

Pirates sound good and easy to put together. I also saw a Mr and Mrs Potato Head at our local shop. I will discussing with DH tonight. This could be really fun!!

Half of the fun for me at the MNSSHP is finding a place to sit and watch all the people around me. Some of the costumes are amazing. I saw this couple once and they were all decked out like that Halloween movie; gosh I can't think of the name now. But it wasn't scarey; Tim Burton directed. Anyway....turns out they were from THIS BOARD!! The woman made the coustume...amazing. I'll see if I still have the photo; it was about 5 years ago.

Found it!! Mind you; I didn't know these people but was so taken with their costumes I asked if I could take their picture!! And when I later found out she was from this board it was just too funny. So if you want to dress up by all means go for it!!!

i'm soooooo looking foward to walking to EPCOT (from BWV) for a grey goose slushie, the official start to 10 days of sun, relaxation, good food and friends. does life get any better?
