Countdown to '1000' wins in Pirates game (999 and holding)

I am heading to Disney World in a couple of weeks and was thinking about getting win 1000 there at VMK central. I'm sure I could easily get the next 20 wins this weekend, but I'm not sure I can go the next couple of weeks without playing the game.

I've given up hope for a special prize for getting the higher wins, so I'm asking opinions on whether I should wait until Disney or not.

Hey sweetie It all depends; do you want to play pirates between now and our trip and get to 1000? Or do you want to play that 1000th game at VMK Central where I can take a picture of you standing next to the VMK computer terminal, and a picture of pop-message??

If it's just a matter of not being able to play a lot of pirates between now and then, you can always play using one of your mules, OR you can play on my account!

I would wait until you get to WDW. At least make it special. And if you go into withdrawl I have only won 4 games at pirates so you can borrow little belle if you would like and teach her how to play. And once she has won alot you can give her back to me and maybe she could tell me how to play. LOL

I say you should win game 1000 at Disney and make a lot of noise when you do. Perhaps the cast members will have something special to offer you like extra quest cards. Even if they don't, it will be a special moment for you!

I would normally say do it at WDW. However, I have used the computers at VMK Central and it will not be easy to win (or even navigate) in pirates there. If you can find some ducks it may work, but even going against "Pirates" on those computers would not be easy.

There also is the problem with the picture. The picture of you at VMK Central should come out ok, but the screen image probably will not.

I'd do it before you go to Disney. I think 1,000 is the highest number anyone has ever gotten. And you never know, It may give you some kind of prize. (I doubt it but wishes do come true lol). Let's say it does give you a prize, You won't be able to print out the paper there. Which means that you have to wait until your next Disney trip to redeem it. Plus, It's like Bob said, It will be hard to win a game of Pirates there. Me and my brother were playing againt pirateship's when we were there, We can usually beat them in no time flat at home. We couldn't even beat one game out of our many attempts when we were at Disney. It's your call on what to do though.

One observation I made is the wins only seem to count with level one games. Is that what you notice?
Maybe you can stay two or three all week.

After waiting several long weeks to get to Disney World, I finally got the big win at VMK Central in Walt Disney World.

Many thanks to those that were there to share this win with me

As you all can see, there were no special prizes and no extra credits (beyond the 40) after spending all that time at sea.

We did manage to get some pictures at VMK Central of the game and later of the screen (mail was not working when I got the win).
