No problem..do you think a Facebook group would be helpful too? We are on a cruise in Oct on the Fanstasy and they have a FB group that is closed to the publc. Easy to post tips on and keep track of them. Just a thought

Very excited about NYE on the ship as well as all the pretty holiday decorations that will be up

I like FB groups. I created one if anyone's interested.

First posts show who has signed up for the fish extender. Would you like to join?

I sure hope that turns out to be incorrect. I will be very disappointed if no NYE fireworks.

Correct. No formal night. There is a semi-formal night. Or at least that's how it was on our 5 night cruise.

Only the two boys will doing the fish extender. Thank you.

Can just the two boys be added to the fish extender. (10 & 15) Thanks for all your help.

hmmm it says not found? What did you name the group..maybe I can find it that way?

I changed some settings so maybe it will work now?

No problem. I'll make note of that next time I do an update.

Amy and I are debating between this one and the Christmas cruise. I'm leaning toward this but am a little worried about the long day. We would have to be up around 3am, drive from Dallas and than party until after midnight? Might be a bit long for the two us

I really don't want to be away from home on Christmas so that's why we wouldn't do that one.

What if you came in the day before and stayed the night in Galveston (or somewhere between Dallas and Galveston)?

We are considering that among the options.

On the Christmas, we don't have kids and our families are in different states. We will make of familial visits this year on Labor Day and her parents are visiting us for Thanksgiving. So Christmas and New Years are free for us for once :D

We do have time to plan and work everything out though. Like I said, I'm leaning toward this one.

Have you ever experienced New Years Eve on a cruise? I haven't, but that's what really led us to this one. I anticipate it being really neat.

We haven't. That's what interested me. I want to do a New Year's Eve, a Christmas, Halloween and any others I can stuff in there :goodvibes

Amy and I have tried to do something exciting when we have a free New Year's. Most of the time we either are at families or we are broke from visiting them. Last time we had time and finances we did New Year's in Jackson Square in NOLA.

That was a BLAST party:

I'd love to do all the holidays as well. I actually was booked for Christmas 2 years ago, but then when my grandson came along, I didn't want to miss his first Christmas. And now that he's here, I don't want to miss Christmas either. :rotfl2:

Probably won't be able to do Halloween until I'm retired as I'm restricted to school breaks. Thinking of booking a Thanksgiving one in 2015 maybe. Of course, I'm already anticipating liking New Year's Eve so much that I've booked next NYE on the Dream.

A bit hesitant to do Thanksgiving in the Gulf as that is still hurricane season. Maybe they will be running the West Mexico ones again someday.

Jim

Talking with Amy and she is leaning toward Christmas. Since she isn't as much as a Mouse Addict as me so I want to make it as good as I can for her.

She has to see if can get it off so we may still be on this one.
