Countdown Calendar Question?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but here goes:

When you make your cowntdown calendars, do you count the
days you will travel or not? For example, we are driving in August, and
we'll take 2 days to get there, so is the last day the day we leave to start driving OR the day we get there? The only thing is; if it's the day we get there, then we'll have to take the calendar with us in the road.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I always count from the day vacation starts - which to me is when my DH is off from work! Travel is part of the vacation, so I would include it as a "vacation day"

So, my answer would be that the last day would be the day you leave!

We fly, so on our count down calendar starts w/the time we are walking out the door to the airport.

I guess if I were driving, the calendar would reflect the moment we were heading into the car, even if it took two days to get there. It's the start of your vacation!!!
