Couldn't get Mickey TV card!

I don't think the subject to change has to do with HOW they hand out the cards but more so about how many quests might be going on at the time since that seems to change more then anything. As well as IF they run our of them or not I am betting too. We already knew it was a card given for the season so that isn't a problem. If birdmom was able to get it like that I'm taking it was fixed with the problem of how it was being given out. I will still let you know what happens Sunday after we get home. Which I need to go print out the Tomorrowland quests and enough to have since I have extra people that will be with us.

Berry, Just so you know on the pirates quest the answer to #4 is (white out)
No hooks, no peglegs no service & no lit torches near the gun powder
and #7 on the tomorrowland quest is (in white out)

the answers in the players guide are submitted by other members(not provided by me) and until they are confirmed I have no idea what the answers are, since I live no where near either park. They were confirmed last night after someone had gone to the Park and they were changes before you posted but too late for you to see.

Also VMK has been known to change the answers months after a quest is released. So I rely on members to PM me with any changes that they find, not post, because I don't see every post, even though I do try.

#5 is 27

Oh btw, it can't be 27 for the tomorrowland one..at least the DL one. Its either 075, 121, 007, 029, 034, or 626. I will go check the guide though to see what it says.

Had no trouble getting the tv card. I only was able to get 4 of each since we decided to split off from my MIL, SIL and her daughter. Which was for the best but just wanted to confirm that if you go to DL and turn in all 3 quests you should have no trouble getting it.

Hi All!

OK, I can't believe I'm posting another frustration thread but this is an FYI for everyone.

DH & I went to Disneyland tonight with our friends and their 2 boys. We all did 3 quests (Tomorrowland, Animation & Pirates), turned them in and did NOT get the TV card! We asked why and they it is totally randomat this point; that the computer doesn't give it out about 9 out of 10 times. The CMs have been told that if the computer doesn't say to give it out, then don't. (The four people in front of us didn't get it either)

I'm not sure who to write to about false advertising but it I hope they rectify this and that we can claim the card at a later date!

Hmm... I went to DLR the day after you (the 7th), and they said that you can only get the TV when you complete all 4 (Tomorrowland, POTC, animation, and HSM) quests. IT IS NOT TOTALLY RANDOM. This is the same for the fastpasses.

Something odd though - I went to VMK Central in the morning and did every quest but Potc, so they said to come back later and I could get all the rewards. I go back later and was able to pick up my potc cards, but then they said they couldn't give out fastpasses because it was broken. I saw that the VMK Disney castmembers changed shifts, so I went back there and asked if the fastpass thing was still broken. The lady said she had no idea that anything was broken. She decided to try it on my card, and it worked perfectly fine. I dont know what to think about that case, because in fact I've been in cases before where the person says that the computer is broken or says not to, when you come back after the next shift and it all works fine.

And yes, they do only what that darn computer tells them to.

No problem. From what I know everything is all correct at this point with the answers. I wasn't told anything about the 3 I turned in today. And you don't need to turn in 4. Just 3 and its what the VMK site says as well. That is what the site says as well. We were offered the Fastpasses and I didn't even think about being offered it otherwise we would have gone when we got there. So when we go back later this week we have a couple of them to use. Amazing how some CMs are at that spot. Seems some want to be a bit lazy at times. I have never run into a problem but it seems some of you have at times. Guess I'm just lucky so far.

Went to Disneyland today for Mother's Day and got a very nice surprise from VMK!

We turned in the Animation Quest (yes they have quest cards again), the HSM quest, Tomorrowland quest and the new Pirate's quest.

There were 2 CM's working at the time and while one scanned our passes and quests the other CM said he would get our prizes.

Not only did he give us the HSM, Pirates, Animation and Tomorrowland cards, we also each got the Mickey Mouse Television cards, and as a Mother's day bonus (his words) VMK credits cards and INVISIBILTY cards!

Woot Woot! I was so excited that I told him that he just made my day even better.

P.S. We also got 2 fastpasses each from VMK and ended up getting Dream Fastpasses from a CM a little bit later! All in all an excellent Mother's Day at Disneyland/DCA.

I didn't turn in the HSM one again. I don't want more of that stuff. LOL I just did the other 3 and had no issues at all with anything being given to me. You need to just turn in at least 3 of the quests to get the TV. Have fun when you go!
