Tried to book the CP package at Le Cellier for my mom's bday, but no luck. After looking at the menus, I decided on Chefs de France. It doesn't get as good reviews as Le Cellier, but it looked kind of interesting. Has anyone eaten there lately? Have they decided to keep Remy? I didn't keep up with that b/c it didn't occur to me that we'd be eating there!

TIA!!

Dec 13th. Tried for all three shows, and tried for the 14th and 15th, too. I was very disappointed!

I really enjoyed Chef's when I ate there last year, but then again it wasn't recent. I'd love to go again, but to ME it can't compare to Le Cellier which I have never had a bad experience there. I am sure you will enjoy Chef's so book it but I would keep trying to get Le Cellier as people cancel all the time.

We really like Chefs. Its different food than what you get at Le Cellier. I haven't seen Remy there, that would be great! The food is great and so is the desert! And of course we get wine - because when in France... I think you should try it, you won't be disappointed!

We usually eat in World Showcase three or four times for each trip! We've eaten at Chefs de France and LeCellier just about EVERY trip! (And we'll try a different restaurant or two each time also)

We ate at Chefs de France this past New Years Eve. Although we had lunch reservations, they had a limited menu and I tried the filet de boeuf grille, which was, OH MY - SO, SO GOOD!!!! I practically licked my plate clean! The filet was so tender!

When we went in June, 2009, we definitely had Chefs de France on our list for dinner, and I got the same thing! It was just as good as I remembered it!!!! DH & DD also really enjoyed their meals too!

We ate at LeCellier and Chefs de France in June, and BOTH were excellent!!!

Have a great trip!!!!

I ate at Chefs back in May and was really disappointed with it. It wasn't BAD by any means. It just wasn't as good as all the other Disney restaurants I went to that week. The food was decent, but I can make the same things at home better. Service was just...eh. Not bad, but lacked that special Disney touch.

There are reports that Remy was still at Chefs de France last week. His official departure date was reported as September 5 but it appears he didn't leave then. There's no indication regarding how long he will be staying at Chefs de France or whether he will still be there in December.

At any rate, December 13 is a Sunday, and Remy doesn't appear in the restaurant at all on Sundays.

We love Chefs de France! We have always had a good meal and great service there. I love the atmosphere! I also think they have a nice selection of food to choose from the menu. We were able to see Remy when we dined there for lunch in May. He was soooo cute!

Out of all r dinning ress from 12 nights in Disney. Chef's was the best.
I wasn't expecting it . It was way better than LC. I had ordered the Filet in France & in LC an France was so much better. I will be going back to France again next year no ?

Chef's is actually better than leCellier. I've never understood the cult-like status that leCellier has. Yes, its a good restaurant - but its not great. I suspect it just seems so good in comparison to most of the other restaurants in World Showcase.

Anyway - stick with your Chef's reservation and have a great meal.

We were just there last week.
Saturday, the 5th was our first time at Chefs, and we liked it so much we asked about reservations for Thursday night, and got them.
Remy stopped by our table Thursday night.
The French onion soup is very good, and my wife liked the blue cheese salad.
We both had the filet and loved the potatoes gratin.
We also at at lecellier last week, and it was very good as well.

I totally agree...have eaten at both and Love Chefs the food is excellent.

Thanks for posting this! I had the same question. I really wanted to go to the 8:15 show and picked Chefs De France when I couldn't get Le Cellier.

I love Chefs de France. I think its one of the most beautiful restaurants in WDW. I also LOVE the profiterole dessert there. We are going there on our next trip in a week and a half.

I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

We ate at Chef's de France on Sept 5th. I won't be returning, actually thought it was a waste of a TS credit. The food wasn't particularly good (salmon was dry) and the service was both inattentive and snooty. I booked it to see Remy and even that wasn't very exciting. We would have been fine with an Epcot CS and using the TS at Boma breakfast. We ate their twice, paying OOP the second time.

Sorry to rain on other's parades, but for the first time I was disappointed at a WDW TS restaurant.

We ate at Chefs De France last wednesday the 9th and I would return! I was happily surprised that Remy was still there and he sang DH happy bday! We both ordered the french onion soup, macaroni & cheese, and creme brulee..... the soup and creme brulee was to die for! I would try the ham and cheese sandwich next time..... the service i agree was inattentive and snooty..... but I will keep this one on my list for next year if only to get the soup and dessert again!

It must have been our lucky day on the 5th, because our server, Jordan, was fantastic.
We didn't wait for anything, and our meal was very relaxing and good.
We also had a good server on Thursday the 10th, and our meal was just as relaxing.
