Okay I am staying at POP with free regular dining from 12/5-12/12. I got up at 5:30 this morning to try and make our dining reservations.

I wasn't able to get Le Cellier (no surprise), Chef Mickeys or T-Rex.

I was able to get all of the following:

12/5 7:20 Grand Floridian (flight gets in at 3:15) (had wanted Chef Mickeys)
12/6 6:50 Whispering Canyon (1st have a ressie for a Sleigh Ride)
12/7 7:05 Captain's Grille
12/8 none doing MVMCP, so sticking to CS
12/9 10:30 Princess Storybook breakfast
7:00 Tepan Edo (had wanted Le Cellier and couldn't get anything)
12/10 8:10 Tusker House breakfast
7:00 Rainforest Cafe (DTD) wanted T-Rex
12/11 8:05 Crystal Palace
7:10 Ohana

Do you think I should keep checking for Chef Mickeys and T-Rex. I figured I wouldn't get Le Cellier, so I had already planned on Teppan Edo as a back up.

What do you guys think?

You can call Trex directly and make your reservations - (407) 828-TREX. You can make them prior to 90 days too. From what I understand, they only relase some reservations to Disney to book. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong.

Keep trying for Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier - you might get lucky.

Call T-Rex directly (407-828-8739) because they only release a small number of tables to Disney . They hold back most of the reservations to make them directly.

Hope this helps!

Keep trying on Le Cellier, at first that's all I was able to get was a lunch reservation but about two weeks later I was able to fine dinner reservations for Le Cellier. Just keep on trying, openings happen all the time.

Yes, call them. I called last week for a Dec 8 meal and the entire night was completely open. MY pick of any time I wanted. And yes, you can book before 90 days. Its an easy ADR if you call them directly.

Definitely call T-Rex directly. Keep checking back on the others

I just got off the phone from updating my resies for that same week. The CM actually offered me Chef Mickey as a substitution for the full 1900 Park Fare on multiple dates. I'd try again for Chef Mickey, they actually had several times for dinner available that week. I'd call if you're not lucky online.

Also, I got Le Cellier for lunch, and actually just cancelled it for one of the afternoons I had it booked. You should try that again, too.

If you're not successful, keep trying prior to your trip. I'm sure they'll get some cancellations, as plans change.

Good Luck.

You know you guys are GREAT!! Thank you so much for the advice on T-Rex. I new it wasn't on the dining plan, but I figured they could still make all of the reservations. You would have thought that they would have said that when I called first thing this morning to double check for openings at WDW DINE!! UGH
Last year we ate at RainForest outside of AK and we did enjoy it, but I have never really wanted to try the one at DTD. When were at DTD last year we did stop in to T-Rex and my daughter of course convinced me that she just had to make a dinasour, but the place was swamped so we didn't stay to eat.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

The WDW dining line can make T-Rex reservations, it's just that not all of the available slots are released to them. Some are held back by T-Rex itself. It isn't Disney-owned so they do things a bit differently.

I'm glad you got your reservation. We, too, called directly and got a prime dinner slot for our party of 8 for the night before Thanksgiving! Can't wait.

I have a question about "a sleigh ride". Where would I find information about this. It sounds really fun. We are not going to Dec. 2010 Thanks

Ok, I just made reservations for T-rex over the phone. I called their number and got it for the time slot I was looking for for December the 8th. I do feel a bit uncomfortable, worried I have no reservation number or "proof" of my ressie. What if the lady wrote down the reservation wrong... :scared1:

Has anyone gone and been in the situation where your reservation has been "misplaced"...

We walked in to T rex last tuesday at 730pm they had alot of empty tables.... Food was great...

Definitely keep trying. We got Chef Mickey's about 10 days before we went last month, after trying for a few weeks.
