Couldn't get CRT breakfast 179 days out :(

sorry..just coming here to feel sorry for myself...I really shouldn't since it was my fault and got caught up in life (sick kids!)...and was one day late to make our ADRs....absolutely NO availability for breakfast the two days we are going to the MK. I know...I will keep trying...but it's tough with a party of 6. Thanks for listening.

Keep trying. Do you make reservations on line? Just keep checking occasionally and something may pop up.

or if you were looking for breakfast, what about your Epcot day? If you can get an 8:00ish ADR, then just hop the monorail and go to Epcot when you are through.

given that you're looking at a very slow week, I have a strong suspicion they are not full, they just haven't opened up many (if any) seatings at this point. Other popular locations seem to be very open when I do a few random checks.

If you keep checking back each day, I think your chances of getting a seating are very good, unless there's something unusual like a rehab - but we've heard no news in that vein.

Definitely keep trying. We got in last year and I didn't make our ADR anywhere near 180 days.

Keep trying. You may have to wait a while but you can usually get a reservation. The best times are 45 days out (people that booked packages cancelling) and 5 days out (people with resort only reservations cancelling).

I am with everyone else and say to just keep trying....just keep trying....just keep trying (singing just like Dory ). This is making me a little nervous though, because my 180 day window is coming up on Sunday and one of the ADRs I want is CRT and I hope I can get it for before the park opens, but I will take whatever I can get. We are a party of 4. I will send you some your way in hopes you find what you are looking for .

Like everyone else says, keep trying. I just booked my trip for May and was randomly checking online reservations to see if I could get the ones I wanted and CRT breakfast was coming up for a couple of the days I looked at, so keep checking

Just did a little more exploring - during the end of August, CRT is wide open for lunch and dinner every day, but seems to be completely unbookable for breakfast every day, with the exception of 22 August - which is also wide open.

That's not a normal scenario, so it seems even more likely that you aren't coming up against a fully-booked restaurant, you're dealing with a case of seatings that are, for some reason, just not in the system, or an overall glitch of some other sort. Keep checking back and you'll be fine.

I don't know if you have your heart set on CRT but have you looked into Akershus in Norway (Epcot). It is a character breakfast as well, and if you are on the dining plan only uses 1 Table Service per person. The reviews for this restaurant for breakfast are very high.

im heard from others who said the same as you, at 180 days they couldnt get ANY ADRs for CRT at all, and this was for parties of 3 & 4. I think its a glitch. Keep trying!

Its true that the last week of August isnt very busy, thats another reason i believe its a glitch. lol. Dont give up. I never do and i always get what i want.

goofy, what makes it even more suspicious is that the lack of availability looks to be only for breakfast. Lunch or dinner, no problem.

There's just too much evidence to the contrary to believe that the restaurant is actually booked solid for breakfast this far out. It's odd that the one day that seems to have breakfast reservations available is August 22 - not the days before or after, but just that day, which has plenty of availability.

Totally sounds like a glitch. I know CRT is popular, but based on my experiences- it's not nearly as hard to get as it used to be. In fact, with the prepayment requirement, it's even easier to get these days. While I ended up trading it out for dinner down the road, I was able to get a breakfast ADR for CRT in late July for a trip in mid August in 2011. I also have a friend going in June and we just secured her a spot at CRT a couple of weeks ago. The CMs on the phones are on the same system as the online system...so they see what you see and would really have no way of knowing about any glitches unless someone in internet web support or IT alerted them to it.

Please keep trying as it just sounds like the system is buggy...and it certainly is known to have its issues. Best wishes!

I just made all of my ADRs for our Aug/Sept stay and like everyone else I was unable to make CRT breakfast ADRs. I asked the CM if there were any openings for later in the day and they had a ton of ADRs for lunch and dinner. I booked a dinner just in case but she did told me it looked like the breakfast wasn't loaded into the system yet and to call back first thing tomorrow morning. I think I will be calling back until I get a breakfast since that is what we originally wanted anyways. So the glitch continues .

I had the same problem so I called this morning and the CM said they havent entered the reservations into the system for breakfast yet for that time period - and each restaurant is responsible for entering them so there was nothing she could do other than tell me to keep trying.... so its not booked up, just not made available yet.

I had the same issue this morning trying to book for Sept. 5. No reservations loaded for breakfast. Rep told me to keep checking but it may be a while because he didn't think August was even loaded yet. No explanation, but he said not to worry - shouldn't be a problem getting one. I want to book mine over the phone so they can tie it to my room reservations (I like to keep my stuff together) but I'm going to check daily on line and as soon as they open I will call and make the reservation.

Just wanted to re-affirm what others have said. I called 180 days out for our September 1-12 trip and the CM told me that she heard from other CM's that CRT hasn't been 'loaded' yet for breakfast and to keep checking back. I've called 2 other times and the CM's I talked to knew nothing about it not being 'loaded' but said that it makes sense. We normally go around the beginning of September and never have issues getting whatever we want.

Disney sure is a glitchy company. Also, their web site blows.

I have called daily now for a week and no luck. I took a lunch just in case, but will continue to call daily. It's one of my last ressies I need to make.

If anyone else is trying I can't get T-Rex for lunch either. Same problem as CRT nothing loaded in the system yet.

T-Rex, I thought, you would have better luck calling the restaurant directly? IIRC, there are only a few spots loaded into the reservation system, with a bunch held by the restaurant. I remember because it hit my list of fun things to try with my mom- she loves Rainforest Cafe, so I thought this would be a fun alternative for a DTD day.
