Couldn't get CRT breakfast 179 days out :(

We're trying to book CRT breakfast any time August 24-Sept 3 and coming up short, too, even though I started checking at exactly 180 days out. Is there any chance that CRT is going into some sort or refurbishment that would make it not offer breakfast at all during that time period? We really have our hearts set on CRT BREAKFAST not any other meal and I'm wondering if we should start making other plans for a special meal. Did Akershus last time and while we liked it, we wanted to try CRT this time. What do you think about the refurb?

Just thought I'd add my experience . Can't get CRT for breakfast anywhere in our stay Sept 3 to 18 th. No problem for lunch or dinner.
Really want breakfast as we didn't enjoy dinner as much the last time we did it.
Iam thinking this has to be some sort of glitch.
Have no choice but to keep trying though on a positive note we did get all our ADRs no problems.

Just adding, I've been trying to get ADR for July and nothing has been available for breakfast. Plenty of lunch and dinner times available. It also looks like the breakfast menu has been removed from the WDW website. Hoping it's just a glitch and not something like a rehab.

Oh no!!!! I hope thats not the case! We have our heart on breakfast too...has anyone tried calling and asking to speak to a manager? I don't think it's a coincidence that there in no availability AND no menu on the website

I hope not too, our 3 year old wants to eat in the castle, and the food on the lunch and dinner menus doesnt appeal to my husband, so breakfast it is for us, or so we hope! And just to point out, they never listed their breakfast menu in pdf form like they do lunch and dinner, because it is family style and everyone gets the same thing. It was never on there, so dont worry based on that. When I called a week ago, I was told they hadnt loaded it in yet but nothing else. If they were cancelling breakfast, then wouldnt they have encouraged me to book a lunch or dinner?

Oh that is good to know...gives me hope! But doesn't it seem odd that they would load lunch and dinner and not breakfast?? I hope you're right....but I've never heard of this happening in any other TS for this long now

Keep trying. You may have to wait a while but you can usually get a reservation. The best times are 45 days out (people that booked packages cancelling) and 5 days out (people with resort only reservations cancelling).

So if, for instance, I wanted to make a reservation for the 17th, I might be able to get one if I call on the 12th? Why 5 days out? I thought you had to cancel within 24 hours or you'd lose the deposit? Or is it 48?

Just wanted to let you all know we just managed to get Cindies breakfast booked for our September trip. We done it online , I'd suggest you all go and try it now . Just one thing it asked us to pre pay , I'm guessing they don't charge my credit card yet cause we had planned to pay with the dining plan.

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to get a July reservation this morning.

I feel your pain. We were a party of 6 last Sept and had to keep trying too. We got a lunch the day we wanted but didn't like checking everyday. We are going back to Epcot Akershus this year. Food as okay at CRT but not worth the 2 TS now.
Happy planning. I hope you got all your other ADRs for your trip! We are counting down til April 2nd for ours
