I got about halfway through the first book and just couldn't take any more. Edward has no redeeming qualities beyond his looks and Bella... ugh. The whole premise of Edward going to high school was stupid.
.... so here is 150 year old Edward who has presumably done it all, seen it all and says to himself, "I'm bored. You know what I need in my life? More algebra classes!". No.
Horrible writing and I have read some total trash.

It is a show that is British so you have to keep that in mind.

I was particularly upset with the second book--Bella is so depressed that she's engaging in behavior that could get herself killed all over a boy. Until...she meets another boy and then...yippee...life is worth living again. What the heck?
