Could you tell me about January please?

I had someone ask me about Disney in January and didn't know how to answer them since I have never been that time of year. BUT...I did know where to ask!

How are the crowds and the weather the end of Jan/beginning of Feb.? Is it warm enough to swim? (I have been in April, May, Sept., Oct., & Nov. and have swam/swum? each time. Some Novembers it has been cool but we still went in the water.)

Any info you could share would be appreciated.

I have been there Jan. 27-Feb.10 and it is superb! The weather is around 65- 70 F. The lines are short and you can definately swim!

We LOVE January, though we like to go earlier in the month. We find almost no lines, and no crowds. Weather can be iffy but we have been lucky and never needed nore than a light jacket. It was colder in December than January there last year. My Ds does swim but I find it too cold on getting out. Pools are heated so if you stay in the water till ready to go in and sprint for the room, you will be ok.
