Could you share your HoJo experiences?

We are in the process of booking a DLR vacation the second week of December. We have pretty much decided on the HoJo because it's walking distance, free parking, and we can use our Wyndham points for the stay. What has your experience been? Good? Bad? Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!

We stayed there in March and we loved it! But note that the parking was not free, I believe it was around $20-25 per night. I don't have any complaints about the hotel because we were very happy with our stay and we loved the short walk!

Staying there 2 nights next week, let me know if you have any specific questions.

Edited to add: We've stayed there in the past, but like 5-6 years ago, so I'm comfortable recommending the property (and staying there myself!) but let me know if you have specific questions.

We've stayed at Hojo twice. Once in a non renovated room and once in a renovated room with bunk beds. Actually preferred the non renovated room- was more spacious. The staff is kind and friendly. They decorate great for Christmas! So perfect time!

The little water park is great for younger kiddos. My 10 year old has outgrown it and thus we won't stay there anymore. I did read you need reservations to use it. That was also a turn off for us. No reservations needed for the regular garden pool.

The walk is fine- cut through the courtyard parking lot. 10ish minute walk.. feels a lot longer at night with sore feet.

Likes having McDonald's and Panera right there on the walk to and from. Mobile ordered breakfast a few times.

What else? Oh.. personally their prices have become a bit much. Kinda getting full of themselves in my honest opinion.. but the prices everywhere are going up. If you have points it's a great choice.

We stayed there around 10 years ago. We're booked there again for June. We really like it. The walk felt a bit long on the way home. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the grounds are very nice. They have a great shop in the lobby and there are restaurants close by. I always have a million questions and have emailed the hotel alot. They are always helpful and friendly. If you haven't booked your room yet, I'd suggest the renovated buildings. They look so fresh and new.

Using your points will make it even better!

PS... They do charge for parking now. I think it's $20

Thank you! As we solidify plans I will likely have more questions. :)

Thank you for the info. Bummed about the parking but it's pretty reasonable considering. :)
