Hi All -
I will be travelling to London from 23/6/06 to 3/7/06 w/my 16 y.o. DS and can't decide on which hotel. I've narrowed it down to the Travel Inn County Hall by the Eye and Astons Apts. on Rosary Garden in South Ken.
Travel Inn because of the location - last trip we always found ourselves around that area - so much to do & see and soooo different from where we live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. My son, who is a pretty good skateboarder, is enamored w/the little skating area down there. Last trip he was just coming off an ankle injury and wasn't able to skate.
Astons Apts. because they have a "kitchenette", different part of the city, near Gloucester tube, "home away from home" type thing. This place is about $500 more than Travel Inn.
Both places seem to have favorable reviews on tripadvisor.com and other travel websites I've found.
Do you think we would really save $500 if we prepared some meals at Astons? Probably would have definately have breakfast, maybe dinner some days - but we'd still have to buy the food. I usually don't have a hard time making decisions - don't know what's wrong this time - full moon perhaps?
Just want other's opinions. Thanks so much!!
Jane
