...my five year old nephew, two year old neice and I were driving along in the car last night and my niece Hannah was singing but I noticed she wasn't really using words she was just going "Agh, Agh, Agh" at different pitches. It sounded vaguely familiar but I couldn't place what she was doing until my nephew piped up and said "Aunt Keli, can't you talk to her and get this Ariel thing outta Hannah?" I about cracked up! Hannah was singing like Ariel and Blake is about sick of it, lol. To help him out I did convince Hannah to start singing "God is bigger than the boogie-man" in honor of halloween.

My DD2 does the same thing! So funny.

My DD does that too. If she doesn't understand the words in song she just starts singing in what can only be described as jibberish. One of her favorites is "How The Make Now" aka the opening theme on the Lion King "The Circle of Life" She just kinda jibbers her way through it because she doesn't know the words until she gets to, "Its the Circle of Live. And it moves us all" and that's all she knows...she kinda makes up the rest. She has the melody down though so if you were to hear her you would probably know what she was trying to sing. She does it with several songs but this is her favorite.
